I walked downstairs and into the kitchen where my mum stood putting plates away. She put her hand on her hip and stared at me.

"You were supposed to be over at the traven 10 minutes ago! Keep doing this and you will be fired where are you going to get your money from then!" She yelled at me.

I sighed before walking out the door and heading across the village to the traven, the old duckling. I headed through the door and went over to the bar. I went behind it and grabbed a rag wiping the bar.

"You are late again." My boss said as he came through the door from the room in the back where the wooden barrels of beer are stored.

"My mum told me that not long ago." I said, throwing the rag at him.

He went back through to the back room. Rebekah walked in and came up to me, I got her usual and gave it to her. She passed me some money and i put in into the pot behind me.

"Why aren't you working?" My boss said as he came back through.

"I am not working tonight remember?" Rebekah said before taking a sip of her drink.

A woman came into pub in distress. She had blood all over her and a deep wound in her stomach. Me and Rebekah ran over to her, her wound was in a shape of claw. I looked at Rebekah who seemed to trying stop her self from doing something. Rebekah bit her arm and created a deep wound, she put to the woman's mouth and the woman let some of the blood drip into her mouth. I watched as the wound slowly began to clear as Rebekah fed her more and more. I stood up in shock. Rebekah stood up and came over to me. I kept backing up until I was in the corner. I looked down at her arm to see her it repairing itself.

"You won't remember what just happened," She said looking straight into my eyes,"No one does." She said scanning the room.

"The wolves are outside!" The woman finally getting up.

I ran outside and saw them waking into towards me, I grabbed my pen knife from my belt and ran towards them. I began to attack one with nearly black fur, I grabbed his ear and ripped it with my knife. It cried in pain so I left it and headed for the next one. I grabbed his fur and pulled it over. It cried out as it put pressure on one of his veins making it pass out.

"Jane! What are you doing?" Rebekah shouted stopping in my tracks.

"I am helping the town!" I screamed, turning around.

"But you will get killed!" She shouted.

"Well that's a risk I am going to have to take!" I shouted.

I turned back around and dropping my knife in shock as a wolf came running and tackled me over. I stared into his big black eyes as it pressed down on me.

---------------

I woke up in pain, I opened my eyes to see myself in the forest with salt surrounding me. I went to touch it but I realised my hands have tied together with rope. I saw woman come over with candles and stones. She put the candles around me and in places further back. She came back over to me, grabbed my hands, pulled them open and placed some stones into the palm of my hand.

"Don't drop them." She said quietly.

I looked around to see if anyone else is here and I saw a man come out of the shadows, he walked over and the woman guided him to sit somewhere and hold a stone too. I felt tears fall down my face. She began to speak this words I couldn't understand. The candles lit themselves and I could finally what was happening. The rocks began to burn a little in my hands but I tried to keep hold of it. She began to,whisper some words again. I felt the rocks burn my hands, I started shifting them from hand to hand which didn't help at all. I cried out in pain as the salt around me caught on fire. Can salt even catch on fire?
