Chapter eighteen

We knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. I shuffled in my shoes, I was nervous beyond bear. We were discussing today with Damon and Stefan about a plan to kill Silas. We stood waiting for ages for them to answer the door.

"Lets just go in." I said.

"But...alright then." Angela muttered as I opened the door.

We walked through the door and saw no-one home. We split up and began to looked around for them.

"Who's there?" I heard Damon asked out. He sounded exhausted or like he had been hurt.

"It's Jane." I said walking into the room where he was.

"Oh thank god." He groaned.

He was tied to chair and the chair was placed basically right next to where the sun was shining. I went up to him and he looked terrible.

"Never I have been...this annoyed in my lifetime." He moaned.

"Why?" I asked.

"He...he poured vervain down my...throat and...he took my daylight ring so that...if the sun hits my skin...I am gonna burn." He moaned.

"Let get you out of here." I said.

As I began to untie the rope around his wrist, within a second I felt a sharp pain on my head.

I woke up and groaned. I looked up to Silas, I think, and Angela. I saw I was tied to a chair next to Damon. We were both placed on the side of where the sun was.

"At least your finally awake." Silas or Stefan said.

"Silas let me go." I groaned.

"Sorry but I am busy at the moment." He snarled.

"Angela...why are you standing there?" I asked.

"Why would I let you go?" She asked back.

"Angela!" I cried.

"Your evil! Why would I help someone who is horrible to me." She said.

"Were going to go for a while, make sure you don't move or you may burn." Silas laughed.

Within a moment he was gone. I stared confused at the floor.

"What's happening?" I asked Damon.

"Oh yeah, I don't know." He said.

"You seemed to recovered from before." I said.

"I am vampire, of course I will recover but I will burnt nice the sun touches me." He said.

"Right." I said.

I slowly move my foot into the sunlight. My feet began to burn inside my sandals and I pulled it back.

"Looks like were both going to burn." Damon said.

"You've got to be kidding me!" I yelled.

"Don't get angry all you will do is burn up anyway." He said.

"Where Stefan?" I asked.

"Stuck in the cellar." He said.

"Great, let's just sit and burn then when the sun reaches us." I said.

"Ok, sounds like a plan." He said.

"You missing Elena?" I asked.

"Yeah, she only been gone for a few days but I still miss her. Never guess who turned up when she left." He said.

"You may not know her but Katherine did." He said.

"I know Katherine." I said.

"She was actually vulnerable." He said.

"I saw before and she was fine like she was still vampire." I said.

"Maybe it only just hit her." He said.

"Sounds like Katherine." I said.

The front door slammed and we both looked it each other.

"Who could that be?" I asked.

"Jere-" he cut himself as we both began to scream the sun had shun on exposed skin.

"What's going on here?" A voice said.

It sounded like the guy that works at the bar but with a nicer tone.

"Help!" Damon shouted.

Our chairs were pulled back and my skin calmed down. I looked up at the guy who saved us and saw he looked completely different to what I thought he would look like. He smiled and I smiled back.

"Thanks." I said.

"Yeah, you may of been sweeping ashes if we were left any longer." I said.

He untied us and we went into another room.

"So what are you then?" Jeremy asked after Damon introduced us. Damon had gone to see Stefan.

"What the way to ask, well I am a witch but I am Klaus's protector thing. Basically I live, I die. Then I reincarnate into another supernatural thing. What about you?" I asked.

"I was one of those hunters and then I died but know I am back alive." He said.

"Yeah, you are more interesting." I laughed.

"You miss your sister then?" I asked.

"Yeah a little bit." He said taking a sip of his drink.

Damon and Stefan came up. We smiled at them. They came and sat down.

"So Silas compelled Angela." Damon said.

"So are we going to do about it?" I asked.

"Were going to get her back." He smirked rubbing his hands together.
