Chapter four

|~Chapter 4~|

We walked back into the the mystic Grill and Klaus ushered me to sit at a table. I did so and sat down. Rebekah sat next to me and Klaus went up to the bar.

"I have missed you." Rebekah said smiling.

"I have missed you too, why have been gone for so long?" I asked.

"Klaus staked me, and kept me in a box until he set me free again." She said.

"Oh my god, really?" I asked shocked at the thought.

"Yeah he did to all of us." She said.

I sat there trying to take it all in. Klaus came back with the drinks, he passed us them and put the change on the table. I looked up at him in annoyance. He looked at me and smirked. I grabbed my drink and threw at him. Rebekah laughed.

"She is my best friend and your sister!! Believe me if I knew you had staked her. You would of known about it!"I shouted.

I grabbed my things and stormed out the door. I walked out and got into my car. I threw the keys on the seat next to me. I put my head in my hands and let a bit of cry. I shook it off and drove off. I didn't quite know where I was going but I wanted to get my anger out. It was something my best friend Angela taught me to, she really did help me with my anger issues.

I pulled over on the freeway and got out the car. I walk up to the bridge and looked over the edge. I looked around to see if anyone was around. I jumped over the edge and into the water. The rush of the cold water shocked me. I swam to the side of the river and took of a couple deep breaths before under the water again, I swam down as I could. I saw a car at the bottom of the river, I try to look at it as much as I could before I had to get back up again. I felt myself calm down, I swam to the side and got out the river. I climbed up the bridge and got back to my car. I went around to the back of my car and opened the truck.

I opened my suitcase and got some new clothes out. I got into my car and got changed. I started my car and drove off back to the main square in town. I parked up by the mystic grill and got out. Damon stood outside my car confused.

"What?" I snapped.

"Why is your hair wet?" He asked.

"No reason." I said walking past him.

"I have heard it all so don't worry about telling me." He said.

"I just went for a swim." I said.

Klaus came out and saw me. He looked at my wet hair and then at Damon.

"Do you have anywhere to stay?" Klaus asked.

"No." I said.

"Your coming with me." Klaus said dragging me with him.

"What about my car?" I asked.

"Fine then, we will go in the car. Give me the keys." He said.

I passed him them and we got into the car, he started the engine.

"It has a nice sound to it." He said.

"Just drive." I said.

He drove off and began somewhere in town. We drove another five minutes when we arrived at a big house. He parked the car and we got out. I walked around to the back of the car and got out my suitcase out.

"Welcome." He said.

We walked up to the door and stepped inside. It was quite a beautiful house. I had warm feeling to say a cold hearted hybrid lived here. He showed me upstairs and into a room. The was cosy and had a big bed in the middle. I walked in and I dropped my jaw.

"It's gorgeous!" I exclaimed.

"Well this is where you will be staying." He said.

"Thank you."I said.

"I will leave you to get settled in." He said.

He closed the door and left me alone. I took my suitcase to the bed and put it on it. I opened the wardrobe and turned back to my suitcase. I got my pyjamas out and put them at the top of my wardrobe. I carried on putting my clothes away. i also got out my various books, makeup and my candles. I eventually finished so I closed the wardrobe doors and put the suitcase under the bed. The bed looked very neat and tidy like it has never been slept in before. I took one last look at it before jumping on it. I giggled at my self as looked at all the pillows in the floor. I heard the door open and close.

"Klaus?" I asked out into the silence. I got off the bed and looked around. I looked the en-suite I and but no-one was there. I went out to see klaus looking at my books.

"Spell books." He said bluntly.

"Yes,so?" I snapped.

"Hmm, yet another witch who most likely end up killing herself thanks to dark magic. You all think your powerful." He said. I began to step back, he step following me. I stepped back one more time, to hit the back of the foot on the wall. I put my hands against the wall.

"What do you mean?" I said a bit weak.

"Bonnie Bennett. The little witch who was fine until she use began to use expression and died doing a spell. It would make me laugh if you died for the same reason. I don't want you to die honestly I would rather make your life hell, so hear is a tip so you know what to do for me not to kill you. Keep out of sight, your out of my mind. Little witch."he said.

I blink and he was gone. I slid down the wall and sat on the floor. Bonnie was dead, why was klaus saying things like that to me? I stood me, regaining my strength. I stormed out the door and went downstairs.

"Klaus!" I screamed. There was no answer.

"Klaus!" I screamed even louder.

The door bell rang, I looked across at the door. I stepped closer to it and looked through the glass which in each side of the door. It was Angela. She looked my way and I hid.

"I know your there! I heard you screaming!" She shouted through the door.

I ran upstairs and down the corridor. I hid in some random room and closed the door. I turned to look at the room. It was quite and very modern but traditional at the same time. I smiled at it. I looked back the door and then back at the room. I screamed.

"Well hello there." She said as sat on the bed.

"What are you doing?"I said.

"Just sat on this bed in quite strange room in Klaus's house, you?" She said getting up.

"Why did you come to find me?" I said.

"One word. Friendship and the fact that Klaus will be your doom. I was trying to protect you from him and I was trying to a spell to undo the other spell that was first place on you, but you ran away!" she shouted.

"Well you know what, I am Klaus's protector and that is my duty no matter what unfortunately. But so what?" I shouted before storming out the door. I ran down stairs and walked out the door. I ran into klaus.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Just doing what you asked me to do. Keeping out of sight so I am out of your mind." I said, beginning to walk again.

"Wait what?" He said pulling me back.

"Don't you even pretend to say what said upstairs didn't happen." I said.

"What do you mean? I have just been with my sister." He said.

"But you were just upstairs telling about Bonnie." I said pointing up.

"No I didn't." He said.

"Then who did?" I asked.

"Silas." He said.
