Chapter thirteen

"Jane?"

I looked up and saw Joey. I actually thought then it was my mum or dad. I hugged him.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Klaus." I said.

"Come on, let's go in the room." He said.

"What if he gets in?" I asked.

"He can't get in, remember? He has to be invited in." He laughed.

"Oh yeah!" I smiled. "How long I have been gone?"

"About a month." He said.

"Doesn't feel like it. I have been in mystic falls just about a week or two. Two weeks, I think." I said.

"Well, I am happy to see even if it was just for two days that you are here. I heard Angela skipped town too." He said.

"Yeah, she followed me. She lives then now like I do." I said.

"You want a drink?" He asked.

"Tea maybe?" I asked.

"Ok." He said.

"I am just going to see if I left any clothes here." I called as he went off into the kitchen.

"Ok." He shouted.

I walked out the room and walked slowly up the stairs. I open my door into my room and smiled I saw the familiar sights. I closed the door behind me. I looked at all the posters I had on the walls, pictures of me and my friends. I looked at my double bed, still left the way I made it one month ago. I walked across my drawers where I had my trophies for dancing and other schools ones. I smiled when is saw the cluster of college booklets covered with dust. I looked over at my small pile of boxes by the end of my bed which had some random things in them. I headed over to my window and opened the curtains.

The room looked bright again, I smiled and looked at the things on my window. Photo frames with pictures of prom in them. I giggled at one of me and Angela. I got startled by a rock hitting the window. I looked up to see Klaus throwing stones at the window.

"Here you go." Joey said opening my door and placing my cup of tea on my bedside table.

"When are mum and dad coming home?" I asked.

"They have gone away for the weekend so you will just miss them." He answered.

"I must be going home Sunday then, I might be staying here tonight." I said.

"It's your room so you can if you want to." He said.

"Thanks." I said.

He left the room and I turned back to the window . I took the things off the window sill and I opened the window.

"What?" I said sitting on the ledge.

"I'm sorry, I'm just messing about." He said.

"Are you saying sorry?" I exclaimed.

"Yeah but I don't mean it." He smirked.

"Of course!" I laughed, "Why would you ever apologise?"

"I have but I rarely ever mean it!" He said.

"You twat!!" I shouted getting off the ledge and walking out the room. I walked into the bathroom, filled a glass with water and then went back into my room. I got my cup of tea on my way back to the ledge.

"You look pretty up there, I feel like I am Romeo or something." He said.

I rolled my eyes and threw the water at him.
