Snake[Izaya X Reader]

In case if you're wondering why do I use ~ for. It's for extending voices, that's not the real use of it, but I'm just accustomed to using it like that.

NOTE: grammar and story in rework !!

THE STORY IS IN REWORK: the main storyline will stay unchanged but some events and chapters will be either corrected or deleted. The goal is to make 'facts' and events in the story more realistic and connected to the past/present.

"IZAAAYA!!!"

People start to turn their heads in direction of the noise. A tall man in a bartender's outfit chases someone over the park.

"Where did that damn flea go??!" shouts the man, he moves his head left and right in an attempt to find his target. People quickly clear the way, Izaya on the other side of the park.

"Aww~ don't be like that Shizu-chan!" Says Izaya, a smirk on his face.

"Shut up! I'll kill you!" barks Shizuo, he grabs a sign and rips it from the ground. Izaya lifts his brow in amusement, he laughs entertained.

 "Shizu-chan you're not doing that again?" says Izaya amused.

"I'll kill you," shouts Shizuo in anger. He moves suddenly and chases Izaya, who is already way ahead of him. Shizuo is stronger but Izaya is faster. Izaya laughs loudly while running, he looks back at Shizuo just to see his expression for his own amusement.

*bam*

Izaya loses balance and skips to catch himself from falling, he turns and presses his hand on the ground then skillfully catches himself, back on his feet. He looks back to see what just happened. His eyes stop on you.

"Oh- I'm sorry, I didn't intend to trip you over," you say in a calm voice, a hint of amusement in it. Izaya's lips form into a smile of amusement.

"Oi! Move girl!" demands Shizuo, who approaches meanwhile. A wide smile on his face. "Finally I'll kill ya, piece of thrash!" Shizuo reaches for Izaya but Izaya avoids it quickly. Your eyes move to Shizuo, you've heard of him and his 'super' strength, then again of his hostile relationship with the informer. It's annoying enough that the informer hasn't responded when you reached out to him, now you have to deal with this other man. Even so, it would be a shame to pass on an opportunity to accidentally witness the informer in the park.

"Excuse me," you speak in a calm voice, now focusing on Shizuo. "I need to talk to him so you'll have to sort out this some other time." You say and Shizup furrows his brows unpleasantly surprised but then again he looks at you, at a person, who interfered in their fight. Izaya watches in silence, it amused him, the fact that someone dared to oppose Shizuo in a state of a tantrum.

"Won't happen since I'll rip his tongue out, he talks too much." Shizuo grabs Izaya by his jacket and lifts him up.

"Such an ugly face," notes Izaya when their eyes meet, a mocking smirk over his face. His comment pisses off Shizuo even more and he aims with his fist at Izaya's face but Izaya slips out of the jacket then squats, he rebalances by putting his knee on the ground then makes a clean rotating move and escapes Shizuo, who tries to grab him with his hands.

"It's obvious you got old, monster." Izaya sneers, he jumps aside and makes a few skipping moves to create a distance between them. "I would love to stay but I'm a busy man."

"You're not going anywhere." Shizuo throws the jacket at Izaya, who catches it elegantly.

"You didn't have to." Izaya laughs as Shizuo hurls towards him. "Will you ever change?" He smirks amused and turns, ready to take off.

"You're hard to get to." You stop him. "And you're definitely into some-," you glance back at Shizuo who got close, "-weird stuff."

"Oh really?" Izaya smirks amused, his eyes study you for a quick moment.

"Izaya!" Shizuo gets to him and tries to hit him but Izaya jumps aside and avoids him.

"You have no manners at all," Izaya laughs mockingly. "I was talking to this lovely lady." He jumps aside again since Shizuo keeps punching, each time missing.

"I don't fucking care!" Shizuo tries to grab him and Izaya leans down, he gets a knife from his pocket, it unlocks and the blade flicks out of the base. Izaya makes a clean cut across Shizuo's chest. Shizuo growls in rage and aims for Izaya's head, Izaya dodges by stepping aside, he laughs amused but the very next moment Shizuo turns and grabs him by his arm.

"Got you!" He grins and throws Izaya into the wall. Izaya hits it and falls to the ground. He gets up quickly and smiles like it didn't affect him at all.

"Come at me, you animal," provokes Izaya, his smirk fades as he points the blade at him. Shizuo grins angered yet amused, he grabs the sign and walks closer.

"Stop for God's sake!" you get between them. This must be one of the weirdest fights you've ever seen.

"Move girl," demands Shizuo but stops. He didn't show any interest in hurting anyone else than the informer.

"No," you narrow your eyes and Shizuo makes a sound of annoyance.

"Not going as planned?" provokes Izaya.

"You're dead, dead, dead," repeats Shizuo but it seems he's not ready to hurt you. He steps aside and then on the other side to see how he can get past you to Izaya.

"Look, you can continue after but now I need to talk to him," you stare at him then glance at Izaya.

"Oi! Girl, move away from him," says Shizuo again in a severe voice.

"Mind telling me your name?" you say and stare at Shizuo.

"Shizuo" he narrows his eyes.

"Alright, Shizuo this will take just a moment," you say, the situation is unreal.

"Whatever," he says annoyed. "Whatever, whatever, whatever." His grip on the sign tightens. You turn to Izaya. "Orihara, I would like to hire you," you say calmly.

"Oh?" he says amused while his eyes move from Shizuo behind you to your eyes then back to Shizuo to keep a track of his behaviour, "and what kind of service would you like me to provide?"

"information," you reply.

"About?"

"Organizations in this area"

"Why should I?" Asks Izaya sarcastically but amused.

"As you can see, you're not in a very good position. I suggest you cooperate."

He smirks "Well if you let me go, I'll tell you everything."

"Yeah, sure you will."
