It's been a few days since you last crossed paths with the informer. You've been busy with work, gathering intelligence from your contacts within the Awakusu-kai.

As you move from the kitchen to the main room of your home, you glance over the reports you've collected while cooking dinner. Taking a seat at the table in your living room, you open your laptop and begin reviewing one of the files. You've grown accustomed to life in Ikebukuro, your new home.

For a few moments, your attention is absorbed by the latest information on the Awakusu-kai. Your organization is still relatively new to the area, having operated here for only a few months. Given your organization's reputation, it's no surprise that the Awakusu-kai has adopted a passive-aggressive stance. In the intricate web of the underworld, alliances are often formed out of necessity, and betrayals are almost expected. In the past, Jean has met with the key figures of their organization. You should have done the same, but now it is what it is - you'll set a meeting soon.

A ring at your door snaps you out of your work. The doorbell goes off again; someone is at the door, but you aren't expecting anyone. You stand up and head to the door but stop, remembering you're dressed in a plain tank top and underwear-not exactly appropriate.

Walking to the door, you look through the peephole to see who it is. Izaya Orihara. You step back, surprised-why is he here?

Quickly, you move to your bedroom, search for a nightgown, put it on, and check yourself in the mirror, fixing your hair. The doorbell rings again. You hurry to the door, taking a deep breath to calm yourself before opening it.

You look at Izaya, acting surprised. "Izaya," you say. Izaya smirks when you face each other.

"[f/n]- chan," he says amused. He stands there with his usual smirk, hands casually in his pockets. "I hope I didn't catch you at a bad time," he says, his tone light and teasing.

"You think?" you say sarcastically then lift brow due to the late hour and your attire.

Izaya's smirk widens, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Well, I suppose my timing could be better - for you," he teases, stepping inside as you gesture for him to enter. "But I have something rather urgent to discuss with you." He invites himself in. You watch him walk inside, his arrogance is annoying.

"Take your shoes off." You close the door behind him, feeling curious and annoyed.

"Oh?" he says amused but does so and takes his shoes off, "don't worry [f/n]-chan, I'm well behaved," he teases.

You look at him in silence then hum. "Speak Izaya, what is it? And it better be important or I'm kicking you out for intruding this late," you reply, then turn and guide him to the living room.

Izaya moves around the main room, his eyes darting to every corner, taking in details to get a better idea of what kind of person you are. You observe him, then approach.

Izaya glances at you, a sly smile playing on his lips. "Nice place you have here, [f/n]-chan. Cozy," he says, his tone as light as ever. You can feel him slowly prepare a layout for questions and observation to gain more information.

"Cut to the chase, Izaya," you say, crossing your arms. "What brings you here at this hour?"

"No need to be so aggressive, everything at its time," says Izaya amused.

"Alright," you say in a calm voice, "go ahead and get out, come back when you provide your services."

Izaya chuckles. His look sharpens and his lips lift into a smirk. He is entertained and challenged by your attitude, always pleasantly surprised by your behavior. "You are a rather interesting human - feminine but with traditional male character and behavior," says Izaya amused, "did you have to adapt by integrating male characteristics to survive in the crime world?" provokes Izaya.
