[f/n]s parents were members of Yamra mafia, which ruled in Nerima, Kita and Itabashi, south areas of Tokyo. The condition that she lived in with her brother were awful. The resoult of low standart of life was that she droped out of school, working, so she could escape the way of living that her parents lived. They were responsible for prostitution organization in Yamra. They even tried to use initiated her into it, but before that could happen she ran away with her brother in west part of Tokyo, Setagaya. In that time she entered privat special force. It's not completly clear how and when she entered it. They were most of time working under Zami, the mafia which controled west Tokyo. After a while [f/n]s team got set up, a lot of her teammates got killed for Zami sins. Somehow few of them survived, they soon gathered people and killed Zami's higher-ups as revenge. After that they took over their business and started to expand. They moved to central and south areas. They had to face Yamra which was a big threat, but [f/n] new born mafia manadge to destroy them, literally wiping them out. 

Few facts that you wanted to know:

Snake: nickname of [f/n], used to hide her true identity. Represents power and rebirth, it also indicates dangerous side of getting involved with her. 

Her sadism is probably result of childhood trauma(being assaulted by parents), which probably awakened when [f/n] killed her parents and a lot of Yamra members as revenge.

When the war between Yambra and new born Zambi was still going on, [f/n] created a group which was responsible for eliminating, it was a new special force, formed by old and some new members. She was a member too which was unusual for boss, but it seemed she had a lot of hard feelings against Yamra members. In one of their missions she put in risk her teammates life(Nick), indirectly she let him go into ambush. Later they managed to save him, but he received a lot of psychical and physical damage.

She sacrificed own friend?

I expected something interesting. But this!

Izaya saves the report on [f/n] on computer. His friends which are data brokers from other parts of Tokyo finally managed to get report about her after months of hard work. Her past is rougher that he though. She suffered a lot, but at the same time she achived many things. She really is intetesting.

He leaves the appartment to take a walk, thinking. Finally he uncovered important facts about her. It was something that he was looking towards! Somehow he got rid of that feeling that everything may end since she is no longer taking direct part in his life, nor is he in hers...since he said he won't bother her anymore directly!
