The year was 2097, when America fell into the peek of poverty for the entire country, too corrupt, to far gone to save. Hundreds to thousands lost there jobs, or worse there homes. The banks closed and lost all the money in accounts. The rest of the world turned its back to Amercia, to rapped up in thier own wars and issues to even look our way. Neighboring countries built walls, closed roads, any source of transportation to keep the endless streams of Americans out of their countries. Amercia was closed off and forgotten. Years after Amercia was left to solve its own problem, it only grew worse by the day, mounth by mounth, year by year. The struggling people in power in the government foght for control, untill the goverment created the STOF (Strive Towards our Future). The struggling power thought they answered the crying calls of there dying citizens, if only they saw past there greed to see the crystal grew louder, and louder. Children, yes the general public saw the struggling and growing amount of child as the answer. The Organization believed that the next few generations would lift Amercia pit of poverty, and det, save the forgotten once home of the free, now trapped by there own chains of greed and sickness. Little did the adults know they didnt have a choice about giving away there children. Giving away their children, thier dignity, thier hard worked money, thier homes, thier very own life.

Infants, children of all ages, daughters were ripped out of sobbing mothers arms, and sons pulled away from thier weeping fathers. Hosptials, foster care, orphanages all gave away the starving, ill children to the Organization, but little did they know. They were also sinhging away our lives, and freedom. It was only long after they relized giving away the frightened naive children wasnt right. Adults turned away in fear of the well being of thier children. More and more organzation compounds poped up all over the U.S. As Amercians became desperate for any type of paying work, most turned towards the compounds, where all attention was directed to. It wasn't a home. It wasn't a solution. It wasn't the answer. It was a forced prison. Thier forced home. A new regretted mistake.

DAY: MONDAY, SIX A.M, SEPTEMBER TWENTY-THREE.

"just stay down there. no matter what you hear, okay baby?" a sweet, gentle, cooing voice drifted into my deaf ears. the darkness of the space below the cars seats hid me from any light from the car windows. crums and dirt pocked into the skin of my arms, huddles below the seats. looking up the blurry image of a women with dark skin, a wide toothy bright smile and tears in her bright eyes stared down. her camreal colored hand soothing the hair touching my back.

"promise me you'll stay right there"

"i promise mom" tears fell form the older women's eyes as she nodded her head, long black hair swaying.

"good girl, i love you"

"i love you to mom" the women's body out of the car now, the door of the sudan closing with a soft thud. the blurry fogged, rain streaked image of the women walking away towards black shifty figures could barley be seen as tears of fear clouded any type of sight to be seen. rain pounded on the metal veical making it even harder to see anything thru the car's cracked fogging up windows. warmth spread thru he running humming car, but the near around was freezing. a frightening noise of a scream sprang thru the late evening air, as lighting lit the sky claiming all light and noise.

"Nickles!" lurching up right something ruff struck the side of my head. i turned my head to the side to see the outline of my bunkmate standing in the small space between our tow hanging metal beds.

"its time to get up, be lucky i let you sleep in this time!" Mast the blond haired girl huffed. i looked down to see my own willow and dirty cloths in a pile smiling evilly up at me. the smell was any pleasant either as the sight. noise from the outside the rusted small cell destroyed any chances of falling back into sleep.
