Scaling up the metal steps up, up, up and up my legs started to burn. In the bunk you would be thrown into the shoe for causing a distraction and interfering with the so called 'peace' of the compound. Here moving, and...privacy was somewhat given it felt naive and alein like. Privacy, I wanted to laugh at the term that silly word that had the same sense as air. I paused at another reached silver railed platform, my chest burning. I looked to the wall to find pipes snaking along the white, dim lit walls, he platlum slack shinned the printed numbers floor 57, with a large door closed. Almost there, almost there, almost. This section of the facility I have discovered is the only place not blazing with bright lighting. I leaned to look down over the railing, down, down, down and down the stairs squared down to the starting of the concrete stairs.noises and sounds of soft conversation trickled down thru the tall starred shaft. I scaled up another flight of stairs, my quite thoughtful peace now erupted. The speakers, sounding of to, two three voices spoke in hushed tones, all sounding higher up then my destination.

A insitct deep inside me wanted to scale up the steps and listen, thinking it could possible be a threat towards my group or a member, a rival group, Voss? Hunter kale? Jen? Gabriel?....Stop it. I scowled my self, freezing as I relived I was half way up case fifty nine, my foot hovering over the next step. I paused and listened, the soft hushed noises were now gone, quite. Could I have imagined the voices? Was it just my mind playing a joke on me. I shock my head forcing the startling thoughts to the back edge of my brain and pressed on. Feeling as if I was pulling my self out of a thick fog, like the white bunk shower room. I quickly reached the awaited sixty third floor. I drew in a shaky breath to calm my nerves and pressed onto the door to open it. Bright white blazing lights sneered past my closed eye lids harshly greet my eyes. I blinked rapidly to adjust my eyes to the harsh familiar lighting.

"Tip! You finally made it!" A knowing voice cheered from a short distance away. I followed the voice to Lacy standing behined a waist high silver counter, food items and cooking utensils scattered across it in a ordly choas fashion. The same type of organized mess has on ever counter top and stove in the bright lit room. This must be the kitchen, so the bunk inmates do run it just like the...Bunk.

"Come on i saved you a sandiwtch. Hurry eat we'll be late! And trust me tip no one wants or needs that. Lets go!" she decleared pulling off a hairnet and plastic gloved. Then tossed a sandiwtch my direction, i caught the flying piece of food as she gripped my free arm and pulled me thru a set of double white doors. We were know greeted by the sounds of loght quite conversations and the squeak of moving chairs. The white bunk cafeteria. I watched as a steady pushing stream of colored clouthes pushed threw the double doors.

"Whats going on Lacy!?" i asked gripping her arm as she gripped mine to get her attention. She spoke over the nose with out turning her head focused on her task at hand. Getting to the doors.

"Training! We'll get in trouble if we are not there in time tip lets go!" she ordered. Rushing into the stream and pulling me in behiend her. I shoved the sandwich into my mouth as elbows, arms, torsos, ansld glaring looks were casted my way. Trouble? What kind of trouble like the shoe?

"Hey watch it!" a voice barked in my left ear as i wiggled thru a clump in the crowd by Lacy. We were know in the pack hallways, clumps and crowds pressing near the elevator, others heading up the stairs. The sounds of there pounding rushed feet reminded me of the joy of running, then the sickening feeling of the guards marching thick boots.
Strangely i realized the only noise in the hallway was the blink and swip of the cards tp the elevators, or the poinding of stomping feet on the stiars. There was no whispers of conversation, or slight giggle of laughter. It was eerily quite, very quite.

"Lacy what happenes during training?" i whispered bending my knees slightly to whisper in her ear.

"...you'll see Tip" she whispered back not turning to face me. Her cheerful nkte on her voice gone left with the shadow of fear. Her stands was no longer upright with a bounce in her step instead her shoulders slumped.

Fear wiggled around in my sore belly, i feared i was going to meet the thing that created that mysteries gleam in even Lacys eyes. The bing of the elevator sounded again as the ebtire packed hallway hifted closer. Another clump of inmates disappeared into the elvator silver doors. I looked up watching the clumps shidt forward and the silver doors open and close. Then i saw a familiar saved blond head, the head turned and i locked eyes with Maggie. Her pale lips moved to form words. 'sorry' The all to familiar coil sprang up into my neck amd spun around until it periced my brain. Shivers tickled my spinal cord. My breath hitched in my neck.

   "Tip where are you going!?"

"Tip!" i heard Lacys voice call after me sounding from very very far away. I lunched forward pushing thru unresponsive clumps of colored glum faces. I fixed my eyes on my target, Maggie. I needed to get to her. I thru a elbow to move a bigger inmate out of my way as my out stretched hand gripped what i wanted, Maggie. I pushed forward to her side to see my hand rapped tightly around her wrist. I leaned forward to her as a clump squeezed by to the silver boors.

"Tell me everything, now!" i demanded no longer liking to be stuck in the shadows of secretes and sheltered words. I knew that what ever we were going to would be the evil sence creeping up around the corner.

"Alright," she paused, with a small tilt of her head. The small act was frightening form the large, tall girl. other inmates moved passed in blurred clumps.

" follow me," she commanded with a swift turn on her heels, Maggie dissipeared into the clumps. my hold on her arm acting like a leash tugging me along, into the unknown.
