"Had your fill Clarina?" i heard the blond ladie asked as i licked the resdue of consumed food off my hands and finger tips. The coil in my chest, spinning the newly eaten food around. Causing a almost uneasy feeling in my stumic, as a burp escaped my lips. I glanced up to see a questainable gleam shine in the ladies eyes.

"tell me Clarina how are you?" She asked once again using my first name to address my attention. I didn't bother correcting her, I knew it was a lost cause, and a waste of breath. I felt the tightened fade away as the rush of questainable rattled my body.

"what's going to happen to the Bunk kids?" I asked almost breathless. Possibly answers buzzed around in my skull. She took her time to answer, vas she leaned forward slowly plunking a glass up from the edge of the table near her, and took a slow sip.

"Don't you wish to know what's going to happen to you?" She asked pulling her drink from her lips. I shook my head slightly, to keep the coming rising headache at bay.

". . .No"

" well. . .I do believe that Dr. Green had been given strict instructions to have the food restricted, and many kids were held in the correctional finality for being disruptive and prematurely violent towards his assembly about there current actions" she answered, setting the glass back down on the table, scattered with a few empty licked clean dishes. A thin plastic fork that was offered with the bland meal was slowly stucked into my sleeve as i pretend to hold my upper arm.

"You answer like it's already been done, but that's impossible something like that would take days to happen, to straighten all out? Were talking hundreds of kids"I echoed my growing worries. She opens her mouth to speak, but I beat her to it.

"How long have I been asleep!?" I fired out, unable to keep my voice calm.

"Almost a week" she answered. Her eyes locking with mine. My breath hitch in my throught, caught by the coil. A week? How could I be asleep for almost a hole week? Why? What's going in on with the kids, are they alright, are they alive!?

"A week!?"

"Almost, a week" Jane corrected. Noises, and sounds of utter astonishment echoed from between my teeth. Janes features shifted into s grim mask.

"Why do you think you are alive, because you can fight?" her eyes dared me to answer. Like a bunk spider waiting for you to look the other way before it shrieks.

"You are alive because of what i did to save you"

"Why?" I echoed, my voice cracking to most a shy whisper. My eyes stunk from the warm tears fighting to be relased.

"Clarina do you know the purposes of this compound?" She asked causally, her voice flat and sounded less concerned. I barely heard her over the hum and scream, of questains buzzing in my head. I was ripped from my thoughts as I felt something clasp my hand. I looked down expecting to see some kind of weapon, or scary medical tool to find a hand enrolled over mine, I froze adults unless a guard or Doctor aren't allowed to touch kids for any manor. I looked back up to her to see a wide white toothy smile strengthed across her pink cheecks.

"Clarina this compound was built to help children like you, to give safety, shelter, and a home that no one else can. We only want to help you" she said softly. The change of character so quickly left me feeling stunned. Help children like me? Help children like me. No, she's laying I know the meaning of this place.

"Help?" I echoed. She's tricky me, I have seen enough to know that's not the truth. No it was far far from it. She offered me another bland smile, then pulled back, pulling her hand off mine.

" do you want to know how we are helping you Clarina?" She cooed, almost whispering as she leaned forward towards me. I could only guess how your helping me. I thought bitterly managing to keep a straight slightly confused face to keep up my act.

"How...?" I whispered, realizing she wouldn't give an answer if I didn't reply. She gave a ghost of a red lipped smile, her eyes slightly narrowing.

"Your helping your country Clarina we're giving you a home a place to grow and learn, and when the time is right you will leave here and welcome your new life" leave, leave, leave, leave, I will be able to leave. I felt my chest squeezed with the effort of holding my breath in exitment. NO, it's a trick. There playing you, I have learned nothing here but how to be a "distraction" . Ripped away from my mother, ripped away from my group, ripped away from my freedom. i looked up to see her watching me, her eyes narrowed. I gave her one of her own bland smiles.

"I'm looking forward to helping my country" I cooed back using her own tone against her. Yes, help my improperly country, my dear country. She then stood up, dusted her self off from invisible fragments, then motioned for me to rise. The floor burned under toe, as I stood. I felt the food in my belly turn along with the coil.

" we are going to see each other again soon Clarina, im sure of it" she said with a gleam in her blue eyes, the same gleam as Dr. Greens dull, beady eyes. The ladie then stepped back to the thick white door, and knocked, then turned back towards me.

" she's ready!" She shouted her gaze still locked with mine. My breath hitched in my throught, as I realized what was happening. I commanded my feet to stand still, I would not cowardly back away. Seconds later a set of two guards stepped thru the door.  One stopped and turned to the ladie, the other marched towards me, and took hold up my left upper arm. I hissed out a pained breath, from the rough hand replacing the ghost of the hand on my arm. I froze as the ladie stepped forward from the side, and snaked her arm up my sleeve, retrieving the plastic fork.

" take her to temporary confinement. Room 3298" I heard the ladie order to the second guard, her back to me. The guard stepped away from the ladie, and marched towards me, holding the door open for the guard to pull me thru.

"Wait! Wait!...what's your name!?" I shouted over my shoulder my voice cracking as I was pulled into the white doomed hallway. The guard holding the door know stood in front of me. If I know her name, I could have some kind of footing or leverage here, if I get into another tight fix with whatever I might be facing.

"Jane Bracket" she answered calmly. A ghost of a up turned smile pulled at her lips, as the bright lights bored down on her pale completion causing a erry glow. The door swung close breaking our gaze, the guard once holding the door stood in front of me.

"Hold out your hands" he barked. I froze, would they inject me with something again!? When I didn't respond, the guard in front of me grabbed my unclentched arm, and clicked silver cuffs around it, then pulled my one restricted wrist towards my clenched arm by the other guard, and connected my wrists with the cuffs.

I was then pushed along, finally be able to use my own feet. Every step the burning under foot faded to a numb slicked throb. I was pulled to another elvator, as we heard the leading guard swiped his card and the doors slide opene. The door slide shut behind us, as we turned to face it.

Room 3289? Could this be where they'll finally kill me? Is it a lab where they'll stab me with needles? Is it another shoe room? What ever higher power there was please dont let me die...

"Are you going to kill me?" i whispered looking at the torso of a black amored vest of a guard officer that could so easily be my death. Of course i was met with no response but my own subcousis whispering thoughts into my head.
