"...Oh what about....?"
"...Yes..."
"...No way, okay maybe...."
"...Really...?"
"...after...!"
Jimmies and Lacy's idol chatter went on, fading in and out of my ears and attention. I tried to pull anything of actual use from there conversation but got nothing. I only got idol lovely, a little more then friendly chatter from the both of them. Nothing about the lay out of the 'white bunk' or of any guards, or doctor visits, nothing. I leaned to the side of the moving, metal, rotator moving box. The metal was like everything else, cold.
"Were here!... Come on Tip, your the girl of the hour!" lacy cheered. I opened my eyes to realize the elevator had stopped and the doors were open, showing a white hall wall, the same bright white lights and black orb camera blinking.
I step out and follow the very friendly two. Thier arms raps around each other like cobwebs clinging to the pipes hanging from the bunk cieling, stuck. I would be a drag not to see a couple when its near me, back in the bunk there was couples if you were lucky to get close enough to another bunkmate. I followed the two down the hallway leading away from the elevator. The elevator doors silently closed behined us, as we turned the left corner. I crained my sore neck to look over the towering head of Jimmy to see in this hallway at the end was a set of large, white double doors, and a large stair case besides it leading up. I watched as many older looking laughing kids raced down the steps, thier colorful clothing glowed as they stream ahead of us and into the double doors. Loud laughter and screaming conversations blashed out of the double doors in waves, everytime the doors opened. I wanted to cover my ears and run away, in silent fear of guards racing in and attacking the older kids just like what happened in the... Bunk.
"Tip you coming?" i barley heard Jimmy questain from further up ahead. I mentally cringed as strange unfamiliar scents stung the inside of my nose, but made my mouth water. Could that be food?
"Tip?" i was pulled from my inner panic, threanting to over come me, as i left a light hand touch my upper arm. I shriked in suprise and leaped away. A guars, a guard, thier here to throw me in the...shoe! I looked down to see a startled Lacy, and a few feet away a confused looking jimmy.
"Tip?" she called again her sweet voice no longer sounding distant like it had before my panic attack. Get a grip Nickles! A frightened new Orange would have more control! You drag, and you call your self a leader!? I mentally scorwed my self, how could i have been so stupid to let my emotions slip?
"Im fine, i thought i saw something thats all" i said woth a bust of confident as my voice sounded firm, and stern. Jimmy shrugged his shoulders and walked ahead slipping into the overwhelming room past the doudle doors. I looked back to Lacy to see her eyes gleam with...pity. Oh goody.
"Thats okay...i guess the bright lights cant shine over every crack and corner" she said with a smile then went on seeing i didnt respond.
" those cameras dont see everything, there are some blind spots just like the lights" she said with a shrug of her small shoulders and another smile. I smiled back at her, my ears ringing with the wonderfu, possiable, useful information i have received since i left my bunk... Room.
'those cameras dont see everything, there are some blind spots just like the lights'. Hope flared thru me, kicking out the constant shivers that racked my body. I loudly cleared my throught, and rolled my shoulders back to relaxe the tenced muscles.
"Lets go" i said giving her a forced smile. She flashed back one of her bright toothy smiles as she started to ramble on again leading the way towards the menacing white double doors.
