Warm, the air was now warm, it was once cold, so cold, i almost missed it now. for once in the white bunk the air was warm, almost as warm as the feeling of the abonded window's glass under my palm when rays of the bright sunshine, glowed thru the dark clouds. the hands are still sore from the strange heat, after everything i've touched is always so called something warm felt, so, so horriable, but so very welcomeing. the reason the air was so warm, wasn't welcoming at all, tacken by suprise and forced into a tight place, by guards was not welcoming, not at all. i missed the cold, the warmth was simple a lillision of comfort, for fear. i had only wanted to rest in my cold bed to night, it seems the adults had other plans, just like us.

"stay in line!"

"keep quite!"

Guards stantioned, contrasting agaisnt the white tiled walls screamed out commandes you could only obey. inmates off all ages, and sizes of the white bunk stood in slow pacing rows marching down a white hall. it was late, very late past the last buzzer of the day. before the inmates could retire to there hite rooms, clumps of guards had emergeded out of the silver elevators and began to scream the same orders they did not. no one knew what was going on, no one knew what to realy do but listen to orders given in fear of the guards hands clasped around a weapon on thier belt. this sudden change of ruotine was firhginteing, and soon after the wave of confusion clear after being forced into lins by the shove of unkind hands, fear has settled in.

"stay in line. move forward!" the guard besids me barked out voice booming like a static speaker. i felt a sruge of panic spring from my belly as i pushed further into the middle of the hall away form the sides. if i was in the middle, i was protected form the reaching words or hands of compound officers. i felt my hand slip over my shoulder, to clasp the strap of the bag for a sense of comfort. this was all new, this had never happened before. where we being trasnported into a new compound? was thier a search going on? was there a sickness flaoting around? i began to look over the shoulders and heads for a answer to this sudden line, maybe even a leader, but the line was cut off by a sharp turn. i turned around to see the line went on until the last turn, i had learned from the whispers this was floor twenty seven right above the hosptial unit, right above all the adults testing rooms. i jumped with panic as the tall girls next to me, grabbed my shoulder to steady her sobbing form. she was hunched over a hand covering her eyes as her lip pulled up to show large yellow teeth.

"move forward!" the lines pushed forward away from the barking voice in utter fear. i used this as a chance to esacape the grip of the tall weeping girl, pushing forward i slithered thru past shouders, arms, heads. my croutisty mixed with my panick to push me foward, to see. invisable strings pulled at my spine as i neared the turn, a flickering light danced above head, new heads under its beam every flash.

"tip!" the strings moved to my arm, as i felt nails dig in. i turned quickly to knock away the sharp nails when a chin came into view, a sharp pointed chin. i followed the sharp voice up to meet a pair of brown eyes and thin eye brows.

"Maggie whats going on?" i shoock off her claws.

"im not sure, have you heard anything?" she hissed under her breath and gave me a slight shove to move forward, as a guards head turned in our direction. i stummbled, and caught my self on another back.

"Twenty seven"

"What?"

" this is the twenty seventh floor" i replied. her thin eyebrows move to slide up slightly, as a twinkle of suprise. this expresstion was so frogein on her face, i had never seen something suprise her, this only scared me more.

"find the others!" she snapped, then turned to force her way back into the lines, pushing and shoving. maggie's light brown shaved head disapeared behined other bodies as the lines shifted up, moving stil obeying the barking guards orders. Part of me wanted to shove forward and clamp onto her arm, demanding she stay put, and not run off right after I had just found a familiar face. I pushed my fear away into the clouded back of my mind, and began to turn in a blurred cycle looking for any familiar heads, or pale faces. A muffled shout rang out into my drifting senses as a shoulder moved three rows ahead to show a short, wild head of tossled dark red curles moving as the head turned from side to side, Lacy, lacy! I sucked in a warm full breath to call out when a sudden hard shove dug into my side, as my feet caught at the ankles. A boney shoulder of light faded pink clided with my chin, as painful vibrations rattled from my tong.
