"This is room 3289, welcome home" he said dryly. I glanced at the white door he was referring towards as, "home", . My gripe tightened around the cup in my hands, I felt it slightly bend from my pressure. This must be like what it feels, when Voss beats up a kid? To have that pressure in your hands, clutching so tightly . Disgusted with my thoughts I push them to the back of my mind. I quickly glanced at the possible threat before me nodding his head towards the door. Could this be a threat? Could this be a test, is this a test to see if I trust them?
"You first" I replied coping his tone. I watched closely, as with out and hesitation or doubt in his movement he open the door and stepped in, disappearing into the dark of the room, seconds later white light flashed on. I shifted my self to the door way as I watched him turn back around towards me, arms open jest urging towards the room.
"See? No officers, no doctors it's just a room kid..." He said his voice trailing distracted.
". . . No officers" i echoed. I leaned forward on to the door frame, peeking into the room. From what I saw the room was white just like everything else, white lights glaring down from above, but there was no black round camrea in the room.i gave my self the luxury of a relived sigh, that slipped thru my lips. I turned my gaze back to the tall leader in the middle of my Bunk...room. Our eyes locked in a long stare, as he crossed his arms over his chest as a sign of victory,
" get out" I ordered. My voice floating around the room, then finally reached his ears, as he narrowed his eyes even more. In a few steps he was in front of me, glaring down. My body tenced, ready to drop down to Dodge a blow, or try to give one of my own.
"you dont get to make orders here kid, unless you want to become a human lab rat, you better listen to me, and show some respect!" He snapped. I clamped my mouth shut, I felt the cup in my hand bend even more, as both my hands curled into fists. That's right Nickles, you have no control any more, your not a leader any more, you were never a leader, I'm now a Orange, young, weak, new. I'm at the bottom again, the very bottom.
"you should get some sleep"
"I don't need sleep" I was already asleep for a week! The bitter thought rolled around in my brain as if it was hollow.
"It would be better to sleep, and let your body release the adrenaline, working your self up won't do any good." He spoke voice flat but very stern. I scuffed at his reply and crossed my arms over my chest, to claim a show over my own self dominance. I had already let a leader walk all over me in the past, I wasn't going to become a bunkie- fool do it again.
"Why do you care?" I scuffed. Watching him, I saw his posture stiffen and strighten suddenly. He pushed his shoulders back and faced me, hunching over his face became very close to mine as his features morphed into showing as much expression as the white falls.
"I don't. I just don't want to see another dead body, I might have to step over one day" he growled low, past gritting teeth. I was unable to stop the swallow I took, and held my breath as not to cough in this leaders face. He then leaned away to roll his shoulders as if getting comfortable again and dropping the scsry, stern change of sudden carachter.
" lights go out in a hour, that's when the doors lock. I'll have another bring come cloths" he said side stepping past me and exited the room. I turned my head and watched him walk down the hall way, down the few steps, the top of his short haired head disappearing. I glanced at the rest of the hallway, there was neither door to the left of mine, and another on the hall way, wall opposite me.
The small, wide glass, clear on each white door, with a silver metal handle was dark, meaning the rooms lights where off meaning no one was in there. On my left was a silver elvator, closed, on my right the hallway went on a little bit then steamed down to the floor before with a stair case. I turned back towards the open door frame, the door turned into the room. I took a breath, forcing my bare feet forward I stepped into the room. I turned in a small circle, looking for any threats, doctors, guards, or cameras. I quickly slammed the door closed, blocking off any threats that could be hiding in the white halls. I breathed in a deep long claim breath, as I blinked several times adjusting my eyes to the lights. I looked to the wall left of the door to find, a singular black shrelf holding nothing but empty space.
