"Hurry up! We're gonna be late for school!" I pound on the bathroom door.
I heard some unclear shouting from in the shower. Stupid kid... he should turn off the tap then talk so that people outside the bathroom can actually hear what he's trying to say.
"Well you better hurry up or I'll knock down the door!" I threatened him and went downstairs for breakfast.
Fast forward to thirty minutes later, we're in Aaron's car on our way to school.
As you can guess, Gary and Aaron moved in with us now.
Pros: I don't have to move houses.
Cons: Aaron stays with us and I have to share the bathroom with him since we only have three bathrooms; the one in the kitchen, master bedroom and the communal bathroom on the second floor.
Dad will be staying with us for a few days to babysit us while mom and Gary are on their honeymoon.
It's sad how our parents don't allow us to stay at home alone even when we are already seventeen.
Damn if only I could fit into their luggage... but then again, there are security checks at the airport so they will surely find me. Or maybe they won't find me if I can turn invisible like Susan Storm...
"What are you thinking about?" Aaron asked me.
"About the million ways to die in this car." I said absentmindedly.
Aaron laughed. Again I used to find it attractive.
"You are really funny, you know that?"
"Duh." I rolled my eyes.
With my sarcastic remark and my one word answer, one would know that I don't want to talk. But no, Aaron didn't get it.
Aaron started to talk. "Do you remember that day-"
"For the love of god, shut up will you?" I interrupted him.
Next, Aaron will try to calm me down. Typical Aaron.
"Look I understand that this might be your time of the month-"
"Are you trying to say that I'm on my period?" I raised my voice.
"Uh n-no of c-course n-not." He stuttered.
Dating him for two years has its own perks. For example, Aaron knows how to react when I'm super duper pissed. Like right now.
I looked out of the window to suppress my irritation towards Aaron.
"I'm really sorry for that day. I swear I was really drunk and I didn't know what I was doing." Aaron said.
My mood comes as fast as it goes. Right now, I'm no longer pissed but I feel really tired to talk, anyways. Still, I'm not letting him away with his pathetic excuse.
"Sure, pull out the 'I was really drunk' card, Aaron. It only make you sound pathetic and it makes you look like a coward because you're too scared to own up to your mistakes."
"Yeah but-"
"Besides, we're siblings now, so there's no use trying to claim you're innocent." I said.
"So you're willing to let this pass and be friends again?"
"Not before I get my revenge." I said.
"You shouldn't have told me that because that means I'm going to be alert." Aaron replied.
"Please, I can still get my revenge with or without warning you."
We finally arrived in school. Luckily Aaron managed to find a spot close to the school building.
