13. Talk to Talk

This is a Max and Tamara chapter because I kinda miss them together. Anyways... enjoy :)

See you tomorrow night at eight? Did I just heard what he said? What does that even mean? Is he asking me out?

Oh my gosh I can't believe this is finally happening! Reese just asked me out! Holy rabbies it's even better than eating peanut butter! Well, having a family with him is better than peanut butter-

Hold on, Tam. This isn't a date. Maybe it sound like an invitation to a date but it isn't. He didn't say it's a date, did he? Besides, he said remember our deal earlier before he asked you out. Maybe he has some job to do and asked for your help so this isn't a date you're hoping for.

Once again, my brain has crushed my hopes and dampened my mood.

Thanks a lot.

But still, he invited me out right? The least I could do is dress up nicer than usual. Then again, I should just worry about that tomorrow since it is tomorrow.

I was watching Wizards of Waverly Place on my laptop when my door slammed open and Max walked into my room. She slammed the door shut right away and smiled with a creepy expression on her face.

"Are you okay? You look kinda creepy." I looked at her.

"Put that away. We need to talk. Now." Max instructed, still wearing that creepy smile on her face.

I decided to obey her for once and put away my laptop. Well, mainly because she looks creepy and she will drop that look when she starts talking.

At least that's what I am hoping for.

Max then plopped onto my bed, looking at me excitedly.

"Guess what happened earlier?" I was about to speak when she hold up her finger. "Diego and I are official!"

Diego and her are official? As in Dos? The next thing I know, both of us were jumping on the bed, squealing about the good news.

"Tell me everything!" We continued jumping.

"Well, it first started when-"

"Hold on. Let's sit down. I'm tired." We sat down on my bed cross-legged before she started.

That's what happens when you don't have stamina.

"As I was saying, it all started when you and Reese made up-"

"What? You and Dos were already together back then?" I interrupted Max.

"Will you let me finish?"

I pretended to to lock my lips with my imaginary keys and threw it away. Max rolled her eyes before continuing.

"As I was saying before I got interrupted, it started when you and Reese made up and you guys started to become partners in crime for your pranks.

Of course, I was glad that both of you were friends again but I was bored at that time and wanted to go out for some coffee but I didn't invite you guys since you were having a HSM marathon so I went out alone."

"But we would have just stopped watching and tag along." I frowned.

"I know but I didn't want to disturb you guys. Anyways, the Spanish musketeers were already there when I came so they invited me to sit with them. Halfway, Al and Toby had something to do so they left Diego and I alone."

We all know why they left the lovebirds alone...

"We talked about everything and I told him about that art animation project. He offered to help me after school and sometimes during lunch."
