Have you and your best friend disagreed on something? It feels like both of you are no longer friends. You will feel lost, sad... life suddenly seem so dull.
That's what I am feeling right now because Max is pissed at me for a few reasons.
One, I allowed Reese to walk out of the plan.
Two, Reese is now friends with the guy that cheated on me.
Three, my grand scheme is to do nothing at the moment.
No revenge, no pranks, nothing. We'll just continue with our lives as usual. Ignoring Aaron.
Actually the first and second reason isn't my fault. It was all Reese. But then again, I allowed him to leave so I guess it's still my fault.
Now here I am, holding a small cupcake box. Inside is Max's favorite, red velvet cupcake with vanilla frosting and some sprinkles on top.
I sat on my assigned bench for Chemistry. I groaned. Why are all the subjects I hate in the morning?
Max finally entered the classroom. Instead if sitting with me at our usual bench, she went to sit with Caden, a guy from our school's basketball team.
Our school has a football team but they aren't as good as our basketball team, who seem to win every game.
Back to my point, Max is still pissed at me so I guess I'll just have to wait until the end of the lesson to give her the apology cupcake.
Soon, the benches are filled except for mine and Erin, a girl from the Math club.
Mrs Soaring or Mrs BS which I will tell you why later, entered the class with Reese walking a few steps behind her. I groaned. Some girls saw Reese and giggled to themselves.
"Alright class. Starting from today we have a new classmate that will be joining us." Mrs BS announced before turning to Reese. "Do you mind telling us a little about yourself?"
That's one thing I hate about being the new student. Teachers will tell you stand in front of the whole class to talk about yourself. Not only that, the kids would either talk among themselves which is kinda rude or look at you as if you're in a display case. Yeah our family moved to New York for a year when I was twelve because of dad's job.
"My name is Reese Argent and I live here with my cousin Max." He gestured at Max who ignored him. So Max and Reese's dad are brothers.
The girls started gawking at him. The guys started to frown. I started making that gagging motion.
"Ms Parrish is there a reason for you to gag in my class?" She said in a monotone.
"I feel my breakfast in my throat." I said lamely.
Mrs BS looked like she didn't believe me but decided to let it go. She told Reese to either sit with Erin or me. I kept quiet instead of hoping it's not me because from the many cliché books I've read, the guy always sits beside a girl who mentally hoped it's not her.
Not that I'm saying my life is cliché. I'm just taking precautions.
He walked along the aisle. I looked at Reese, more like glared at him, while chanting 'You are sitting with Erin' in my mind.
As if he could listen. But I can at least hope it would work right?
He stopped and cock his head sideways. I groaned. Sit with her, I mouthed him.
What? He mouthed me back. Damn. I did a facepalm. That's when I got an idea.
I bob my head forward as I kept mouthing Erin. Reese looked really confused. I struggled to think of a way for him to get my message without attracting anyone's attention. If I didn't mind attention, I would stand up and say "not with me" while doing that sassy sign.
