"I can't believe you agreed to go out with me." Tres commented.

"But I did."

"Why?" Tres asked me.

"I've decided that I should move forward in life. Besides, who am I to turn down good food?" I gestured to the spaghetti in front of me.

"And that's the T I know." Tres smiled.

I looked around the dim-lit restaurant. All the tables were occupied and people from all ages seemed to be here; from toddlers to the seniors.

Everyone is either smiling or laughing, everyone seemed to have a good time. Except me.

You are happy, my mind spoke but it doesn't feel that way. It's like something is wrong.

Or maybe this is where you came on your third date with Reese?

I watched a couple at our age sitting across me. The guy took one end of the spaghetti and placed it in his mouth, the girl mirroring their move. Then they slowly slurp the spaghetti, inching forward until their lips touch.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked Reese.

"Have you watched 'The Lady and the Tramp'?" Reese asked me.

"Yeah why?"

He picked up a spaghetti from my plate. "Place the end of this in your mouth and I'll do the same." Reese said.

"You're weird." I said but did as he said.

"And you're dating the weirdo so who's weird one now?" I rolled my eyes.

After both of us have the ends of the spaghetti in our mouths, Reese inched forward.

Oh, I get it. I move forward to do the same but unfortunately for us, the spaghetti broke. We looked at each other, shocked at what happened before burst out laughing.

"We suck at being romantic." I said.

"You, not me." Reese said before leaning and kissed me on my lips.

"Ready to go?" Tres asked me.

I nodded, placing my utensils on my plate. We left the restaurant shortly after Tres paid the bills. Then we went to the movies where Tres bought a medium-sized bucket for us to share.

We decided to watch X-men, because firstly there's no suitable movies for a date and secondly, it's the only interesting movie that is playing at the moment.

"Want some?" Tres offered me some popcorn.

"Thanks." I grabbed a handful of popcorn and shove it into my mouth. Hmm... its tastes sweet, its caramel popcorn.

"Is the popcorn mixed?" I whispered.

"Nope, we both hate salted popcorn remember?" Tres replied, his eyes glued to the screen.

Well, at least I used to. And that is all because of him. I remembered how he actually made me 'tolerate' salted popcorn on our first movie date.

"Ew! Why is this salted popcorn? I thought I said I wanted caramel popcorn." I whispered to Reese.

"Well, I prefer the salted ones and you prefer the sweetened ones so I just asked for a mix." Reese shrugged.

"Why do you even like salted ones? Sweet ones are way better."
