I apologize in advance if you find this chapter kind of unsatisfying including the kiss from the previous chapter because I have zero experience in the relationship category so I don't know about the reality when it comes to dating and relationships.

And this chapter is super super duper duper long.

Anyways, enjoy :)

"

Be ready at eight." Reese smiled at me.

"Wait! Where are we going? What should I wear?" I asked him.

"It's a surprise and just wear anything you want."

"But-"

"Just get ready at eight." He winked at me and drove off.

Seriously? If I have no idea where we are going, then how am I going to choose what to wear?

I heard the front door open.

"I'd come inside right now if I were you," I looked at Aaron who was slouching against the door, "mom heard about your suspension. She seemed pretty mad right now."

I scowled at him. "Seriously? You told her? You know really well that I can tell her myself, right?"

Aaron put his hands up in surrender. "Whoah don't go blaming me... she got a call from school. Correction, she's on the phone with Panky right now."

I rushed into my house, just in time to see mom ending the call with Mr Panky.

"Got anything to say, young lady?" Mom cross her arms.

"Um... I got suspended." I said carefully.

Mom sighed. "Look, just because I don't always reprimand you when you get into trouble doesn't mean I'm okay with it."

"I know."

"Honestly, what did you do that got you a suspension?"

The front door burst open and Max walked in like she owned the house.

"Bonjour my non-blood related family!" She raised her hands in the air.

"It's all Max's fault! She dared me to make out with Reese in the cafeteria. Well, it was Dos actually but it doesn't matter! She still supported him!"

Mom raised her eyebrow at Max.

Max shrugged. "They like each other yet they don't realize it. At least now Tam's sure that she has a date tonight."

The next thing that happened was unexpected. Mom squealed in delight.

"I can't believe it! My daughter is finally going on her first date!" First date with Reese. My very first date was with Aaron.

"Did someone said date?" Dad stood on our doorstep.

"Robin! Did you hear? Tamara is going on a date tonight!" Mom clasped her hands together.

"Tamara and date in the same sentence? I don't like it."

"My baby has grown up." Is mom crying?
