It didn't take a genius to... actually the genius, as in me, did figure out the mystery of Aaron constantly looking up on top. It was Reese who told Aaron about our bucket prank even though he promised us that he 'won't say a word' to Aaron.
What do you expect Tam? Obviously he's going to tell Aaron about it.
Even though our plan may have backfired, it's still fun to see Aaron poking his head into the class, look up to see if the bucket is there, then glare at me before sitting down.
I smiled at the thought.
"I don't even want to know what you're doing here right now." Mom said as she walk into the kitchen.
"I'm enjoying my food." I took another bite of my peanut butter sandwich.
How can peanut butter be sooo good? I should go back in time and thank whoever that thought of peanut butter. Or, since I'm back in the past, I should introduce peanut butter. I can be the PB master or even be the mother of peanut butter.
"You do know that it is 8:30 right now, right?" Mom asked me.
I turned on my phone. "Shit! I'm late! Why didn't you tell me???"
"Language..." my warned me.
"I mean apples and papayas!" I scarfed down my sandwich and rushed out of the house.
The perks of not having your own car... you can run to school. Just kidding. It's pure torture!
By the way, I'm not like those girls who's physical ability is pretty nonexistent and whines about gym class. I don't really mind gym, in fact I enjoy it.
I just don't like exercising. Not because I'm lazy, it's just that I prefer to save my energy for emergencies.
Like what? Getting up to the refrigerator for food?
Hey! That is an emergency! Without food, you starve and then you die. Then everyone will be sad that you die. So it's an emergency.
*Huff huff*
"C'mon Tam! You can do it! Just keep on running until you reach the end of the street!" I motivate myself.
Of course, being me, I stopped running at the third house before the end of the street.
Let's just walk.
No way! I'm gonna miss the first period!
But it's too far!
It's just three more blocks... which is kinda far.
See...
Oh my god why am I talking to myself? Run, Tamara, run!
I started to run but the familiar silver car with a strip of red pulled up next to me. Mom rolled down the window.
"Get in."
"Finally! I thought you're gonna make me run to school!" I got into the car.
"I know I should have left you."
"Mom! It's all your fault I'm late!"
"Sure... it's not your fault you were having deep thoughts about peanut butter while eating peanut butter sandwich."
"Oui."
"So you are blaming me for being late because you took your time eating?"
"Oui."
"Don't blame me for your mistake. It's all you." Mom said.
"But it's your fault for not telling me to go to school on time! If you told me to go to school on time, I would have stop eating and leave for school."
