Dan's POV

It was the best feeling in the world to wake up with Phil spooning me with arms around my stomach and his head so close to mine. I rolled out of his grasp and turned to look at him head on. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep. The way his black hair fell in every direction it wanted and his chest moving up and down as he breathed deeply in his heavy sleep.

Getting bored, I decided to put an end to his slumber that had gone on for long enough by pressing my lips onto his. Quickly waking up and realizing what was happening, he started to kiss back, smiling as he did so. I put my hand to the back of his head to pull us even closer to each other.

He finally pulled away and just looked at my face smiling. "I wouldn't mind waking up like that more often," he admitted with a huge grin now plastered to his face. His face was the most beautiful thing on this earth. The way his tongue poked out when he smiled wide enough and the little wrinkles the formed in his cheeks made my heart speed up.

Unable to contain myself, I smashed my lips onto his again, slightly rougher this time. He was a little shocked at first, causing him to delay, but caught up quickly. Things got a little heated until Phil pulled away suddenly and ran out the door. Feeling concerned and a little let down, I got up and followed him out of the room.

I found him in the kitchen with his arms leaning on the counter and his head hanging.

"You shouldn't leave me hanging like that," I teased as a smirk grew on my face.

He left his position to open the refrigerator and bring out a carton of eggs.

"But it's so fun to tease you, Dan," he responded with an obvious smile constricting his voice, although I couldn't see it as he was turned around.

He had gotten out a frying pan and started to cook up some of the eggs for breakfast. As he was cooking I snuck over to him and wrapped my arms around his stomach and resting my head on his shoulder.

"Watcha makin'?" I cooed in an annoying high-pitched voice. He let out a giggle.

"Phil's Famous Scrambled Eggs, of course!"

"Don't you mean 'Phil's Famous Scrambled Unborn Chicken Fetuses'?" I corrected. His groan of disgust made me laugh.

We ate our breakfast in comfortable silence before getting ready for the day.

After I got dressed, I returned to the lounge to see Phil sitting on the couch with his laptop, still fully dressed in his pajamas.

"Phiiillll!" I whined, looking exasperated.

"I wanted to do something today, get ready," I nagged him.

"Is that so?" He asked with interest.

"Yes! Is that a crime? Now hurry your butt up so we can get going!" I urged him.

"Okay, okay, I'm going!" He giggled as he went to his room and closed he door behind him.

A little while later, he finally emerged dressed in a colorful t shirt and skinny jeans.

"Alright, day planner, what's first on the agenda for today?" He asked cheerfully.

"To the park!" I exclaimed as Phil laughed at my excitement.

With not a second to waste, we immediately head out the door and to the park nearby.

We stopped and sat on the park bench when we got there. I leaned my head on Phil's chest as memories began to cloud my mind.

"I remember when I used to jog around this park," I said with distaste. Phil wrapped his arm around me and nestled up closer.

"But then you helped me see that I didn't have to," I realized with a smile as I looked up to his happy blue eyes.

"It's such a beautiful day, Dan, and I'm so happy to be able to spend it in his park with you," Phil said suddenly. He planted a kiss on my head. Feeling touched, I looked back up at him and gently kissed his soft lips.

"I want to spend every day with you, Phil. Even if it isn't a beautiful one like this, because you'll find a way to make it beautiful."

"I'll gladly comply to that request,"
