Chapter One Hundred and Fifty-Four: Dean Contemplates No Sammy

Dean drove to the park and sat on a picnic table for hours. He knew what the letter meant. Sammy was leaving him again. He had no way to stop it.

He wanted to cry but felt numb inside. Dad was going to be furious. The fighting would get worse.

"What am I gonna do without Sammy? Who's gonna protect him?" His mind was screaming the questions his voice had softly whispered.

Castiel had been gone for several months. He arrived in time to hear Dean's voice. He looked in the car at the envelope on the dash. Stanford? The angel walked towards the young hunter and stood behind him. He gently touched him and allowed his grace to sweep over the him.

The last thing the hunter spoke frightened the angel.

"How am I gonna live without him?"
