Just another day at the academy. Naruto was goofing off and girls were practically throwing themselves at Sasuke Uchiha, the number one rookie.

I hugged a journal I brought from home to my chest as I stared down at my desk. "Miu!" I looked, seeing Naruto in front of me. "Good morning, Naruto." I said softly. "Why are you all quiet, Miu? Do you have a sore throat? Are you sick?" he asked me.

I shook my head. "I'm fine." I assured him.

Naruto took his seat when Iruka-sensei walked in. He explained that today was the day of the graduation test.

If we pass, we become ninja. "Miu Shimizu, if you'd please follow me." Iruka said. I got up from my seat and followed him into another room.  "You can start whenever you're ready, Miu." Iruka said. "Yes, sir." I said softly. I could read the other students' mind from the other door.

"I hope she doesn't pass."

"She's too stupid. There's no way she'll pass."

"I don't know why a girl like her was even born in the first place."

"Her parents probably abandoned her."

"She's so weird."

I shut my eyes as I didn't want to hear them anymore. "Miu?" I jumped slightly and looked up. "Yes?" I asked softly. "Are you okay?" Iruka asked. "Y-Yeah. I'm fine." I said in a small voice. "You have to give her time, Iruka. She is just a kid. She's just nervous." Mizuki-sensei said.

I took a deep breath then made a clone of myself. "Well done, Miu. You passed." Iruka said. "Thank you, sir." I said, bowing my head. I took my headband and left the room. I took out my notebook I had hid in my desk then left the room.

"I can't believe it. She actually passed." someone whispered. I ignored them and went outside. I just wanted to go home and stay there. This world is cruel.

I stopped walking, spotting my classmates in front of me. I took a couple of steps back then turned around. But I was stopped when I saw more of my classmates. "Um, hi. Can I help you?" I asked. They just smirked at me.

I turned back around to walk home but I walked right into a punch to the stomach. My eyes widened slightly before I fell to my knees, coughing. I hugged my book tighter. I didn't have to read their minds because I already knew what they were thinking.

Freak.

Stupid.

Ugly.

Piece of trash.

And a waste of time.

I tried to stand but I got kicked in the chest and fell on my back. I coughed slightly as I started to sit up until one of them pressed their foot on my chest. "Ack!" I squirmed as they pressed their foot on my chest harder. "Look at her. She's so weak, she can't even defend for herself." the boy taunted.

"You're.. hurting... me.." I breathed out as I tried to suck in air to my lungs. His foot stayed on my chest a bit longer as he pressed it on my chest harder. Finally, he removed his foot. I sat up and held my chest, coughing. "You're a bunch of jerks!" I screamed at them.

My classmate glared at me before slapping me across the face. I held the spot where he slapped me then he grabbed my hair. "You're a stupid girl! What makes you think you can talk like that to me!" he yelled at me. He kicked me in the head then kicked dirt in my face.

"Oi, how about we give her a lesson ourselves?" his friend suggested. I felt someone grab me from behind then restrained me. I coughed when a punch was delivered to my stomach. Another punched went to my face then another to my chest.
