"I'm going to ask you again, Ms. Shimizu. How do you feel?" The doctor repeated. "I feel... dizzy... and sore." Miu answered in a quiet voice. "Leave us for a moment." Tsunade requested. The doctor and the nurse left.
"Miu, my name is Tsunade. Can you tell me the last think you remember?" Tsunade asked. "I'm sorry... but who's Miu?" Miu asked. Tsunade gasped at Miu's answer. "Do you remember anything at all?' Tsunade asked. "I... I don't know. I..." Miu trailed off as she blinked her eyes, tired.
Miu's act of jumping off the Hokage Mountain must've caused damage to her brain. Miu turned her head and noticed balloons and stuffed animals.
"Why are all these here?" Miu said in her quiet voice. Tsunade looked at Miu's gifts. "They're gifts for you, Miu." She said. "Me? But I... Wait, who am I?" Miu asked. "Your name is Miu Shimizu. Your friends came by and dropped these off for you when they heard about your accident." Tsunade said.
"I have friends?" Miu asked. "Yes." She answered. "I don't understand. I don't know who you are, who I am, or how I got here." Miu said, politely. Tsunade began to think, trying to figure out a way to bring Miu's memories back.
Some time later, Miu's friends came by to see how she was doing. "Miu-chan, you're awake! That's amazing!" Naruto cheered. Miu just stared at him with a puzzled look on her face. "Kakashi, I need to talk with you and your team for a moment." Tsunade said as she guided them out of the room.
"Miu has amnesia. The fall must've damaged her brain somehow." Tsunade explained. "So, Miu-chan doesn't remember any of us?" Naruto asked. "She doesn't even remember herself." Tsunade said.
Sasuke looked at Miu as she gazed out the window. "How long will she be like this?" Kakashi asked Tsunade.
"I'm not sure. For all I know, it could take days, even weeks until Miu's memories have come back to her. For now, all you can do is wait. I suggest she doesn't go on any missions for a while. Because she doesn't remember who she is, she may not remember the techniques she has." Tsunade said.
'Does that mean she doesn't remember Isuke, or the fact that she can read minds?' Sasuke thought. "Sasuke," He looked at Kakashi when he called his name. "Go easy on Miu, okay? Due to her amnesia, she won't remember who you are right away." Kakashi advised.
"Yeah, I got it." Sasuke confirmed.
The next two days, Miu was kept at the hospital so the nurses could make sure she's okay. After a few more hours, Miu was released. Sasuke waited for her at the lobby. When he saw her, he stood up and walked over to her.
He took Miu's hand, but she quickly slipped her hand out of his grasp. "I don't think I know you." Miu said. "You do. Well, you used to. I'm here to take you home." Sasuke explained. "Home?" Miu repeated. She looked down, unsure.
"Where... is home?" She asked quietly. "I'll take you there." Sasuke said, holding his hand out to her. Miu hesitantly took his hand and Sasuke walked her back to the house. Miu didn't trust Sasuke entirely. But she didn't have anywhere to go, so she had no choice but to follow him.
Once they were at the house, Miu looked around. "Does anything look familiar?" Sasuke asked her. She shook her head. "Don't worry. You'll remember eventually." Sasuke assured her. Miu looked at him before looking towards the couch, noticing Isuke.
"Welcome home, Princess." Isuke greeted. "Did that thing just... talk?" Miu asked as her head tilted to the side. "Princess?" Isuke asked, wondering why she asked that question. "Isuke, she doesn't remember you because she has amnesia." Sasuke informed.
"I see. Goodbye, then." Isuek said, walking over to the window. "Hold on, where are you going?" Sasuke asked. "There's somewhere I must be. I will return when Princess's memories have returned to her." Isuke explained.
