The next morning, I went to Hiashi to speak with him. "Good morning, Miu. Did you sleep well?" Hiashi asked.
"I slept fine." I answered, emotionlessly. "I'll have breakfast ready in a second." He informed. "Actually, I came to tell you that I'm going back." I said. He looked at me with a bit of surprise. "So soon?" Hiashi asked.
I gave a slow nod. "I'm going back because I'm worried about him. But it was nice of you to let me sleep here for the night. I'm grateful. Thank you." I said, bowing my head with a respect.
Hiashi smiled and petted my head. "I'm glad I was able to help." He said. I smiled at him. "Could you please tell Hinata that I said thank you for helping me earlier? And Neji, too? It was very sweet of them to help me." I requested.
"Of course." Hiashi said, smiling. I bowed my head again and went to the front door. When I opened it, I found Sasuke standing on the other side. I immediately got scared and tried to make a run for it, but Sasuke quickly grabbed my wrist.
"Miu, please let me explain myself." Sasuke pleaded. "You're not going to hurt her again, are you, Sasuke Uchiha?" Isuke asked, growling lowly. "No, I promise. I won't hurt her." Sasuke said. "How did you know I was here?" I asked.
"I didn't. I came here because I figured this was the place you'd be at, other than Naruto's place." He explained. I stared at him emotionlessly, but my fear was hidden behind my expression. "Miu, I just want to talk. Please, I won't hurt you." Sasuke said.
I sighed. "OK."
Sasuke and I took a walk around the village as he explained himself. "Miu, I'm sorry I strangled you. I just got so angry, I wasn't thinking. I just... just lost control. I wasn't thinking, and I'm sorry. But I promise I will never hurt you again. I swear." Sasuke said.
"I forgive you." I said. "You do?" He asked. I gave a slight nod. "I couldn't hold a grudge if I wanted to. So, I forgive you." I said. Sasuke hugged me tightly as I stared straight ahead. I was wondering if I should talk to Orochimaru... and consider about leaving with him.
"Sasuke, I need to go somewhere for a second." I said. Sasuke let go of me, then looked at me. "Where do you need to go?" He asked. "Nowhere in particular." I said before walking away.
Sasuke's POV
I watched Miu walk off. "Don't worry, Sasuke Uchiha," Isuke hopped off Miu's shoulder and onto mine. "Princess will be better. She's just a little tired, seeing how she didn't get much sleep last night." He explained.
For some reason, I didn't believe that. Was Miu still upset about what happened? I can't really blame her. I did hurt her. Furthermore, I broke my promise when I said I wouldn't hurt her. She has every right to be angry with me.
But her face didn't hold anger. It was actually hard to read her expression. I smacked my hand against my forehead. "Damn." I murmured. I screwed up big time. I shouldn't have hurt her. I shouldn't have lost my temper and took it out on her.
She's been through enough. My hand clenched into my fist. Damn it.
Miu's POV
After I went back to Sasuke's house, I grabbed the mini rabbit figurines and headed to the training grounds, hoping no one would be there. Isuke and I were supposed to figure out what these things were made for, but he wasn't with me.
I'm guessing he was with Sasuke right now. When I got to the training grounds, I got down on my knees and held all four figurines in my hands. I was about to put some of my chakra in them until a voice called out, "Hey, you!"
