Recap:
"I'm gonna pick up the pieces, and build a lego house." Jasper sang softly, "If things go wrong we can knock it down. My three words have two meanings, but there's one thing on my mind; it's all for you."
His voice sent shivers down my spine. It was low and husky but still managed to come off smooth. I sighed and snuggled closer to his chest, he placed his chin on top of my head an continued singing.
"And out of all these things I've done, I willI love you better now." He finished singing and peeked down at me. I smiled up at him,
"Your voice is amazing." I breathed. I saw a pink tinge creep up his neck and cheeks and laughed. He fake glared at me but a smile broke out on his face.
"So, you like Ed Sheeran?" I asked, an idea popping into my mind. He gave me a curious look but nodded his head.
"Yeah, why?" He wondered aloud. My smile grew,
"Kiss Me." I mumbled, already staring at his lips. He grinned and leaned down, capturing me in a kiss that had my head spinning.
"What the hell!" An angry voice bellowed, making us spring apart. My mouth dropped and all I could think of was shit.
"Heyyyy bro what's up?" I laughed nervously and looked around for an escape.
"Don't even think about it Samantha." He glared at me, crap he was really mad.
His glare turned to Jasper.
"What is he doing here and why were you kissing." He snapped. Jasper suprised me by staying quite. I sighed.
"Come inside I'll explain." I muttered and opened the door, the boys following me.
My brother sat in the recliner while me and Jasper sat on the couch.
"Too close." Jason said as he crossed his arms. I rolled my eyes but moved to the other side of the couch.
I took a deep breath but before I could say anything Jasper beat me to it.
"Look, I'm really sorry about this. I swear we didn't...you know," He trailed off awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck before continuing, "my parents aren't the best and I didn't want my little sister to see that stuff."
Jason cocked his head to the side, "Little sister?" he asked and looked around as if expecting her to magically appear in front of him.
"She upstairs sleeping, she's only seven," Jasper said quietly "your sister was the only person I could think of that would let us stay for a little while."
Jay sighed, "Well, our parents are going to be back tomorrow morning. I guess I could say I had you over for a few days so Sam doesn't get in trouble." He said but I could tell there was something else.
"Okay, what do you want?" I asked bluntly.
"Do my chores for a month and keep my room clean." He smirked. I grimaced, you haven't been able to see the floor to his room since he was fifteen. I sighed loudly and reluctantly shook his out stretched hand.
"Deal." I muttered.
"Guys?" Jasper spoke timidly while giving me a greatful smile. We turned our hands and casted him curious glances.
"How are we gonna explain Lora?"
"If we explain everything to them they'l be fine with it." I assured him.
"Sammy, Jas?" A small voice spoke from the bottom of the stairs. All of our heads snapped towards Lora who had tears streaming down her face. I jumped up off of the couch and quickly strode over to her, Jasper right behind me.
Crouching down to her height, she surprised me by wrapping her arms around me tightly. I lifted her up and rubbed her back gently as she cried into my shoulder. I stroked her hair softly and rocked her side to side.
"Hey, princess, it's okay." I whispered as I tried to get her to look at me. She raised her head a little, just enough for me to see her red puffy eyes. She looked to the side where Jasper was standing, staring at his sister in a sense of worry.
She unhooked herself from me and ran over to him. He instantly scooped her up in his arms and hugged her protectively. To be honest, it was adorable.

After Jasper calmed Lora down we introduced her to Jason. She got along with him pretty well and he already adored her. Settling down on the couch, we all watched a movie. Lora picked out 'The Little Mermaid.' It took a second to convince Jason to watch it but one look at her puppy dog face would have melted anyone on the spot.
For a night filled with bad things, it ended on a good note. Lora fell asleep half way through the movie so Jasper brought her up and tucked her back in bed. Jason went to sleep not long after.
"Well I guess I'll go to bed." I said quietly. Jasper nodded without looking me in the eye. I sighed and turned around.
"Goodnight." Jasper whispered. I half smiled without turning around I said, "don't let the bed bugs bite." and walked into my room, plopped down on my bed, and let the darkness consume me.
