Chapter 24: Family Reunion?

I HAVEN'T HAD WIFI IN A MONTH AND A HALF IM SORRY!!!

And I've been lazy..

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring and groaned. It was Monday, exactly a week after my suspension. I froze at that. Its only been a week? It seems like it's been months.

I groggily stood up to grab clothes and stopped by my mirror.

"Holy cheeseballs.." I muttered, looking at my reflection. I had dried drool running down my chin, my hair was sticking up at odd angles, my shirt was twisted in unimaginable ways, and I had dark circles under my eyes.

"I WOKE UP LIKE DIS, I WOKE UP LIKE DIS!!!" I shouted as I did the moon walk.

"Flawless." A voice sniggered behind me. I turned around and my eyes widened as I saw Jasper. He unsuccessfully tried to cover up his laughter with a cough as I glared.

"What are you even doing in here? I could have been naked!" I exclaimed, fixing my twisted shirt and crossing my arms across my chest.

He winked, "that's what I was hoping for."

My jaw dropped open, "Wha-n-wh-Jasper!" I finally got out after a second of incoherent stuttering. He laughed at my facial expression and walked out of my room, saying that he had to go get ready.

I huffed in annoyance and grabbed a random outfit before going to take a quick shower.

"Hey, do you wanna ride with me to school?" Jasper asked half an hour later over a bowl of cereal. I shrugged,

"Sure."

"Well then, let's go, slowpoke!" He rinsed out his bowl and stood up, grabbing his backpack and walking towards the front door. He seemed uncharacteristically happy this morning. I smiled slightly and followed after him.

"Here, you can have my helmet." He motioned for me to take it as we got to his motorcycle. I opened my mouth to argue but Jasper quite literally shoved it into my hands.

"Just put it on sweetheart. You don't need anymore brain damage." He smirked as I glared at him and then got on the bike. I slid on after him and quickly put on the helmet before loosely wrapping my arms around his torso.

I heard him sigh lightly and then he grabbed my arms, pulling them around him tighter. He patted my hand once before starting the engine and taking off.

Wow school was boring.

That was the only thought running through my mind as I unconsciously moved towards the lunch room. I definitely didn't miss anything during my suspension, that's for sure.

My thoughts were cut off as I bumped into someone. Literally.

I took a step back and was about to apologize.. until I saw who it was.

"Sasha." I mumbled stiffly, quickly gaining my composure.

She just simply glared at me, tossing her hair over her shoulder.

"Watch where you're going, freak."

"I'd rather be a freak than a whore," a voice said from behind me. A second later I felt an arm being wrapped around my shoulder. I looked up to see Liam and smiled at him awkwardly.

Sasha scoffed and opened her mouth to reply but then stopped herself as she looked over my shoulder. Her ruby lips lifted up into a slight smirk and I turned to see what had grabbed her attention.

My wondering eyes landed on Jasper, who's fiery gaze was casted upon Liam's arm. I awkwardly cleared my throat and stepped to the side, away from Liam. He shot me a confused look before he turned around and saw what I was looking at. His eyes filled with bitter understanding as he tucked his hands in his pockets and looked at the floor.

"Hey, Jasper!" Sasha greeted him cheerfully. I felt my hands curl into fists as she walked up to him and ran her hand along his arm.

He stared at her with an unrecognizable expression before he brushed her off and walked towards me.

The look on her face was priceless as he engulfed me in a hug and kissed my cheek.

"Hey, sweetheart." He smiled and took my hand in his, running his thumb over my knuckles.

"Hi." I replied meekly, painfully aware of both Sasha's and Liam's gazes on us.

"Well, aren't you guys just.. Adorable." Sasha said sarcastically, "I'd love to stay and chat, but I'd actually like to get to lunch sometime today." She rolled her eyes and started walking towards the cafeteria without another word.

"Um.. I should probably be getting to lunch too." Liam stated, shooting me a small smile and wave as he followed Sasha to the lunch room.

A breath I didn't realize I was holding slid out of my mouth once they both walked away.

"You alright?" Jasper asked, eyeing me curiously.

"Mhm," I mumbled, "just hungry."

"We must feed Yohan." Jasper chuckled as he tugged me towards the cafeteria.

I groaned when I saw the menu, nothing says 'school' better than mystery meat Monday..

"You totally cheated! I call for a rematch!" Jason shouted at Jasper.

"We can play as many times as you want, I'll still kick your ass!" Jasper shouted back.

The four of us, being Lora, Jasper, Jason and I, were all playing a very intense game of Chutes and Ladders.

"PUT A DOLLAR IN THE SWEAR JAR!" Lora yelled, pouting at her big brother.

"A whole dollar!?" He asked incredulously to which she nodded to.

"Robbery, I tell you! Robbery!" He complained but still gave her the money.

Ha, she totally had him wrapped around her little finger.

Suddenly, Jasper's phone rang. He looked at the unknown number in confusion before hesitantly answering.

JASPER'S POV

"Hello?" I asked into the receiver.

"Jasper?" A voice I faintly recognized replied.

My eyebrows scrunched together as I tried to figure out who the voice belonged to.

"It's me.. it's Tom."

OHHHHH WHAAAT?!! xD

By the way: Thomas, aka Tom, is Jasper's brother that left them when he turned 18

Sooo it's been forever, I know. I'm trying really hard to finish this book but I dunno there's just too much stuff in it and I'm trying to plan it out but IM A PROCRASTINATOR SO YEAH

Next update should be soon because I'm on summer break!
