Chapter 14

Rae's POV

"Holy Shit!" I exclaim as I enter my room.

"What the Fuck?" Isaac yells.

I stare blankly at the scene unfolding before me with my mouth gaping. On the bed is a girl I've never seen before, naked, with her clothes in a heap on the floor. Lying on top of her is Isaac, also naked. They have the sheets pulled up so that I can't see anything, but that first image I got will haunt me forever. I quickly put my hand up to shield my eyes and turn around.

"Sorry!"

"Get the fuck out!" Isaac is pissed at me.

I exit the room as quickly as I can, slamming the door behind me. I walk across the way and pound on the twins' door.

"Come in!" Eli shouts. I bolt through the door. I lower myself onto one if their beds.

"Holy fucking shit." I breathe.

"What?" Eli answers.

"I may or may not have just walked in on Isaac and, I'm assuming his girlfriend, getting it on." I shake the picture out of my brain.

"Wait, you walked in on Isaac and Elise having sex?" Shane gawks.

"If that's her name then yeah." I shudder at the thought of them together. Wait, what? I DON'T LIKE ISAAC! He has a girlfriend.

"Wow. Nice goin' Rae." Shane smirks. He's so hot when he does that. What? I'm so confused right now. I think Shane's hot and I'm jealous of Isaac and Elise. Great.

"Ugh. This has been the worst 72 hours of my life!" I sigh and fall back on the bed.

Isaac's POV

"Who the hell was that?" Elise demands.

"My uh, foster-sister." I haven't told Elise about Rae yet.

"Your what? Why was she in here?" She jesters to the room.

"My foster-sister. And we share this room." I groan. Why is life so difficult for me right now?

"You share a room with another girl?" She's practically explodes at the mere thought of it.

"It's nothing. It's only been for the past 2 nights."

"Oh my god. Why didn't you tell me?" She scowls at me.

"You're so hot when you do that." She smiles.

We finish our conversation and get on with what we were doing before Rae barged in. The door was closed. How could she not knock first? You don't just walk into a room without knocking. Sometimes I think that Rae does certain things because she's not used to them, but it's okay. Why am I sticking up for her? She just walked in on me and Elise having sex. I wrap up this internal battle I'm having and focus on what's happening now; Elise.

Rae's POV

I can't believe I walked in on Isaac naked. Now Shane's seen me naked an I've seen Isaac and his girlfriend naked. Great. Just great. This is going to make for an awkward dinner conversation. Sterling's not going to like it. Damn. I jut realized that we have to tell Sterling. I mean we could all probably keep it a secret, but he'll find out somehow. Why did I have to get stuck in this mess in the first place?
