Chapter 7

I walked up the large sidewalk that connects to the pavement of the school parking lot and the back entrance of the school. My head was spinning with lyrics from one of my favorite song: Stressed Out by Twenty-One Pilots. ¨Wish we could back time. To the good old days when your mama sang us to sleep but now we're stressed out." I hummed the melody of the song as i walked into the school. The smell of coffee filled my nose. Mr. Slone i thought to myself. He absolutely loves coffee. Mr. Slone is one of my favorite teachers. He is hilarious and he can always make the class laugh. I walk up the bleachers my eyes glued to my phone as I scrolled through Instagram. "What do you think your doing here." I looked up and saw Destiny's friends all surrounding Sammy, who looked that she was going to punch someone at any moment. "I was just. Ya. Know leaving" "yeah you better be." They all started laughing as I walked down the steps. "Gosh. you guys are unbelievable." Sammy said as she ran down the bleachers running after me. " Sammy, why don't you just tell someone about your sister or at the least beat the crap out of her." Sammy just laughed and we watched as Destiny and her friend Makaila giving us death glares. The bell rang and we walked out if the gym heading to our lookers to go to our first period class.

Sammy and I walked around the gym talking about stupid homework and other boring things. I thought about yesterday and told her about him. Chase Michaels, the guy i have a huge crush on. "OHHHHHH YOU HAVE A CRUSH" Sammy yelled a little to load noticing the people in front of us turned around and stared at us for a minute. "Sammy be quiet. Your yelling in my ear." Sammy just started laughing just as Chase walked in. Sammy and I looked at each other then Sammy ran over to Chase. "Sammy wait." It was too late for Sammy was already having a conversation with him. I just stayed where I was continuing to walk around the gym. Sammy almost tackled me to the ground and I heard a chuckle from behind me. I turned around to see Chase standing there trying to not laugh. IT wasn't working too well and his bright white smile showed giving me a feeling in my chest I couldn't describe. "Well Aliza this is Chase Michaels he moved here last week and changed his schedule yesterday, so now he had this class with us." I started blushing like crazy because he was giving me the cutest look ever. His hands were in his pants pockets and he was smiling like crazy. I said cool and we just continued walking around the gym until the gym teacher called out to do agilities.

The day went on the same as it always did and now I was enjoying a nice walk to the orphanage. "Hey Aliza wait up." I turned around to see Chase running like an idiot. "What do you want." He just talked about how it was cool and that we had the same classes together. He was staring at me and ended up tripping over a branch. I fell over laughing while he wiped off the leaves and started wrestling me on the grass. He pinned me down and stared right into my eyes. He shut his eyes and leaned in. I shut my eyes as his lips touched my lips.
