Chapter 24

When you have nothing left it's hard to keep going. When my lovely wife died I fought for Aliza. But now both are gone but what do I fight for now. I'll fight for the world. I'll fight for the world so no other family will have to suffer. The things I'll fight for, I'll fight for the mother and the father who are involved with the Agency and I'll fight for the children who's life could be doors after doors, new parents after new parents. I'll fight for Aliza because I ruined her life, if she's looking down I'll prove to her her father was once bad ass. I'll start today.

I walked out of the hospital, wiping tears from my eyes. I watched from the corner of my eye a black car slowly coming towards me. I ran, not the way you would expect. I ran towards the car. The car roared to life and was heading straight towards me. At the last second I jumped out of the way and continued running straight ahead of me, away from the car. I found my car and before I knew it my car was on the highway heading somewhere. I raced off the interstate and towards the Academy. White coats crowded the acres of lands the Academy was on. I was greeted by several white coats staring me in the eye but soon I was parked and into the white building. This was where I was born and raised. This was my home.

"Leo what are you doing here."

A voice boomed from behind me.

"Nice to see you too father."

"Well you haven't been around here since Maria died."

"Yes, the lose of my beloved wife was hard to comprehend but I come bearing bad news."

"We can go to the study, it will be more private and quiet."

We walked up a long marble stairway and took a few turns and was in the study.

"What is the news."

"Aliza is dead."

"She's was just a young girl what did they do to her."

"They didn't do anything father, she jumped out a window."

"That's terrible but why did you come here."

"I need your help. Do you still have my weapons."

"Well of course I do they are on the back wall just behind the last bookcase but mind I ask why you are needing them."

"I'm planning on taking down the Agency."

"That's a death sentence. Leo please rethink this. I know your hurting but there are better ways to go about this."

"I need to do this. I rather die trying that do nothing at all. The Agency will not destroy anymore families."

"Leo, please, you're going to destroy this family. You're mother will be heartbroken and think of your brothers and sisters. They look up to you."

"Dad I need to do this. You can't say anything that's going to change my mind."

"Fine if I can not stop you I will help you. Your old weapons will not help in a battle with the best of the best. Use my weapons, they will help more."

"Thank you father."

"Good Luck Leo."

I grabbed the weapons and went on my way. This is the beginning of the war.
