POEM #21: ALIVE
In the hush of moments, in clouded truths,
There is joy in life, in withered youths.
Not passion's fire, nor fever's power,
A bond magically spun, a low maneuver.A friend's embrace: no war in binds,
In trusted loyalty, no time can unwind—
In memories stored and jokes shared,
A language created in secret has dared. We stride together, worried, mudded,
Through parallel paths, we have started.
A steady lighthouse, no need for flame,
Holding us safely in friendship's name.11/17/24
