POEM #19: LIGHT
The light paints the air with hues unseen—
In corners, where it's dipped in blue and green,
A secret - as hushed as winter's seasoned trace,
The light remains graceful - an ancient gaze.
For when the fateful night begins to show,
In every soul - a shining ray of light will grow,
The dawn's harmony continues to loom,
While cradling echoes - the ill-fated gloom.
Let the sun gather its light in a brilliant array,
As we stir awake, our dreams turn to gray,
In the gleam of day, we travel back home,
Joined for a unified purpose, no longer alone.
