POEM #3: LAVENDER

As the lilies dance with the twilight's song,
The daisies sing, where shadows throng,
In the night sky, the bright moon shone,
Sitting pretty on its marvelous throne.

The lavender hue embraces the tanquil air,
Gleaming spendidly amidst the nightly glare,
Birds looked around, bewildered by the sight,
Forgetting the cares of day, stuck in the night.

Where songbirds hum their soft lullabies,
The nightingales watch in a gentle disguise,
Embraced by the fragrant scent of the lilac's bloom,
Covered by the darkness where the shadows loom.
