Abigail's POV

Hearing the police saying this was down to Freya simply wasn't acceptable to me. And to my relief Ryan didn't think so either. My daughter was not stupid enough to talk to a stranger online.

"Freya wouldn't be so stupid" I snap back at this asshole know it all officer "My daughter has been involved in this craziness her whole life, she knows how to stay safe"

"Listen I know it's hard to think badly of out kids..." the officer started speaking to me like trash.

"Hey" Ryan warned "If Abi says Freya isn't involved...Then she isn't...We know our kids and I am with Abi, she wouldn't make such a silly mistake"

"Mr Tedder all I'm saying is..." The officer frowned at Ryan.

"I know exactly what your trying to say you asshole" Ryan snapped. I took this as my cue to intervene.

"Yeah alright, maybe you should try and investigate some more" I suggested in a threatening tone and the officer took the hint.

Leroy was standing beside us "What do you think?" Ryan was now looking at Leroy.

"I think you're both right, this wasn't Freya related..."I had seen this look on Leroy's face before. He had figured something out.

"The guy in here knew exactly where to go? He's been in the house before?" Leroy remembered the guy he supervised during a rewiring in the pool house.

"The electrician that came in a few weeks ago?" Ryan shared his thought obviously.

We continued to talk amongst ourselves for a fee minutes more until the officer came back to us "Okay well we have had another look around and whoever has been here managed to turn off cctv, which means he has access. I'm sorry but I'm afraid whoever did this was could be or has been a member of your security team"

My heart fluttered as I heard the words "Well if that's true then that person still works for us, we haven't let anyone go since living here" Ryan's revelation made it worse.

"You're security manager sir?" The officer turned his attention to Leroy.

"It wasn't him, he's been my bodyguard since I was 12 years old" I quickly step in to defend Leroy "I trust him with my life, literally on a day to day basis. He wouldn't do that"

"We trust Leroy to be in the house 24/7 with us and our children" Ryan also defended him.

"Okay well it is definately someone that works for you, all we need to do now is figure out who and why" the officer seemed satisfied "We have all the evidence we need so we'll leave you in peace. We will stay in touch"

The officers left, leaving me, Leroy and Ryan. Leroy headed out into the security office and Ryan and I sat in the kitchen drinking green tea, the twins were still asleep "You okay baby?"

"I can't believe someone who works for us, wants to harm us" I was struggling to get my head around it "I need to go an speak to Leroy, will you keep and ear open for the babies?"

"Yeah" Ryan nodded. I grabbed his jacket off the side and slipped it on to go outside. Making the short walk across the gravel I knocked gently on the security office door "Leroy"

As I walk in I can see him staring at security footage "Abi I..." he obviously felt to blame for this.

"It's okay, but you understand I have to ask this next question...I'll only ask you once and I probably already know the answer but..." I was finding it hard to her my words out.

"It's wasn't me" Leroy smiled weakly "But I promise I won't rest until I find out who it was"

I reached out and rested my hand on Leroy's shoulder "I knew that would be your answer...but I just had to ask" I exhale "I meant what I said before Leroy, I trust you with my life...with all our lives. Which is why I need to know what to do"

"What?" Leroy stood quickly, I guess he must have sensed the distress in my voice "Talk to me baby girl, this isn't like you"

"It's just while I was locked in the twins room, when Ryan went and..." I wasn't sure what was happening to me but my breathing increased again and all I could see flashing through my head was Dominic Hendley "I felt so helpless, it was...I'm sorry I can't"

"Hey sweetie it's okay" Leroy's hands grabbed my torso and he held me upright "Come on sit down, take deep breaths"

"I...I..." Shit I can't breathe...panic sets in...then nothing.

My eyes flicker slowly and as they open I can see Ryan looking down at me. He is holding my head off the ground "You okay?" He asked as he helped me sit up slowly.

"Yeah" I could see Doctor Shaw standing just behind Ryan" Is it normal to keep passing out like this?"

Dr Shaw was the female doctor who took care of me after the Hendley incident "Sometimes, why don't we get you checked out?"

"Yeah, Ryan..." I look at Ryan and he follows me back inside the house.

We walk into our bedroom "The twins?"I start to panic again "It's okay baby they're with Tony and Harry"

"They're here?" I asked, I didn't realise they had arrived.

"Yeah they're in the lounge " Ryan replied "Let's just concentrate on finding out what's going on with you"

I didn't reply I just nodded my head "Okay Abigail why don't you start by telling me how these episodes feel?" Dr Shaw smiled.

"Like I'm suffocating, it's like an intense crushing feeling on my chest" I try and explain it the best I can.

"Right okay" She smiled "Anything else?"

"Yeah, I keep getting cramps" I place my hand on my stomach and see Ryan looking curious.

"Right Mrs Tedder" Doctor Shaw smiled, as I laid down on our bed. Dr Shaw pressed gently on my lower abdomen for a few moments before lifting down my top "Okay" she exhaled and Ry threw me a concerned glance.

"What's wrong?" I ask eagerly and Dr Shaw smiles.

"I take it you're not aware, you're pregnant Mrs Tedder?" Her smile was now a grin.

"Pregnant? But how I had a period?" I reply completely flawed by her discovery.

"Sometimes that can happen" she continued "The cramps are probably being caused by stress, but I'd still like to make you an appointment at the hospital for some more tests and for a scan"

"Yeah" I can just about manage a nod my eyes are still fixed on Ryan. He hasn't moved or spoken since Dr Shaw gave us the news.
