Chapter 55:

Olivia's POV:

Hurry up! We've been waiting outside for less than a minute!;p

I chuckled at my message from Louis, shoving my phone into my back pocket. It was now Thursday seeing as I spent Monday alone with my family, then Marisa spent Tuesday with me while AJ had alone time with her's. Wednesday it rained so we stayed in a AJ's place and had a much needed girl's day.

Today the weather had cleared up and we finally convinced the boys - who spent the last few days 'exploring' Chase's video game collection - to come with us to show the Brits around town. There was not a single cloud in sight, and despite it being December, God loves us because the West Coast is enduring a massive heat wave. It was barley to 75°, but the girls and I took advantage of the temperature by wearing our shorts and leaving our jackets behind.

"Guys, I think the boys are getting impatient," Marisa chuckled as Chase's car blasted its obnoxious horn from the driveway. They only arrived here about half a minute ago to pick us up, and we were only waiting on AJ to finish curling Marisa's sleek, black hair.

"Annnnnnnnd, done!" she chirped, dropping the last strand. We gathered all of our things together before stepping into the hallway and down the stairs. "Have fun!" Teresa called after us as we passed the kitchen. We shouted back our goodbyes to her then strolled through the living room.

"You ladies look lovely," AJ's perverted 14-year old brother complimented us as we opened the front door. His sister scoffed and stepped outside into the warm air, followed by the two of us girls. "What? No goodbye kiss, Olivia?" he winked at me.

I've known AJ since we were in diapers, and I've basically grown up at her house. Ever since her brother learned the difference between boys and girls and started the whole crushing/cooties/flirting stages in life, I was basically the only older girl there. And we all know how boys are with older girls, and I'm not talking about cougar age difference.

"Nope," I stated, shutting the door behind us. "I don't know... he's kinda cuter than Harry," Marisa playfully winked. I scoffed. "Oh yeah. Caleb is way hotter than Harry," I played along, rolling my eyes.

AJ opened the door, sliding in next to Louis. Chase sat in the driver's seat while Harry was in the passengers. I pulled myself in next to her, and Marisa next to me figuring four people could fit in the middle. It worked barley.

"So where to?" Chase asked as soon as we settled in. "Uh, the center?" I suggested, looking at AJ for any kind of confirmation. She nodded and I faced back to our driver. "Yeah, the center," I confirmed. "Which one?" he said, gripping the steering wheel. "The cool one, duh," AJ smirked.

"We can finally go since you guys took so long," Chase huffed. "Hey, we didn't-" Marisa started but he cut her off. "No distracting the driver!" he announced. I furrowed my eyes brows in his direction.

"But we're still in the drive-" AJ was stopped as Chase instantly sped backwards down the driveway, enough to throw us all off, and started down the road. "You were saying?" Louis smirked. AJ huffed, looking away from him.

We reached the center in no time. It was a great tourist attraction for younger people, and a popular hangout for teenagers like us. It was basically like being at a beach with all the small shops and stuff, but without the beach part.

Chase quickly parked his car in a lucky space, and we piled out, taking in the scenery. "It's beautiful here," Marisa squealed. I chuckled and nodded in agreement. I loved coming here because it feels like there's something new every time.

"I want to go over there first," Louis told us, pointing as a small airbrush tattoo booth a few yards away. Everyone agreed and started trailing after him, all except Harry. He stood cemented to the ground, looking around uncomfortably.
