Chapter 24:

Olivia's POV:

I smiled. "Why are you smiling?" Harry asked me cheekily. "Is it illegal?" I asked him. He shook his head and laughed. "That's why," I smirked. "Love, you are strange," he laughed. I narrowed my eyes at him. "That doesn't seem to stop you," I told him and he laughed. "I flirt because its fun," he admits. "So not because its me?" I clarified. "Well, uh..." he stuttered and I laughed. "I'm just messing with you," I teased.

"You guys are so weird," AJ whined and we both playfully glared at her. "She's not lying. It's frustrating watching you two act like that all the time," Louis admitted. "It's frustrating wanting to kiss her when she won't let me," Harry whined. I sighed. "You guys are mean to me," I pouted. "No. You are mean to me," Harry backfired. I pouted again and crossed my arms. "Don't talk to me," I covered my face.

The others were laughing at our weird conversation. "Aw, come on let me see your face," Harry cheered while I shook my head. He tried to pry my hands off but I wouldn't let him. It was fun messing with him. "Let me see your pretty face," he cooed.

I was surprised. Of course he has complimented me before but this time was different. It had sincerity in his voice and we weren't in a flirt battle. Flirt battle? Is that what this is?

A smile popped onto my face as I pulled my hands away. "Ahh, there you are," Harry grinned. "Here I am? I never went anywhere. You're an idiot," I teased. He fake gasped in shock and I laughed. "You two are so weird," Marisa muttered. "Thank you," Harry told her and I smiled sheepishly.

My back pocket of my pants started vibrating and playing music. It caused the whole bench to shake and I laughed at Harry's startled face. "Scared you?" I chuckled. "Nope," he lied. I scoffed and took my phone out my back pocket. I listened to the music which was no longer muffled.

You put it down like New York City

I never sleep, wild like Los Angeles

My fantasy, hot like in Miami

I feel the heat

Oh, Miss International Love

Oh, Miss International Love

I heard Harry slightly humming along. I glanced at him and smirked. He turned a shade of red and turned his head in the opposite direction, away from my view. I stood up and started to walk away from the rest of the group. "Who is it?" AJ asked. "My mom, and I don't want to be near y'all when I talk to her," I told them and they laughed.

I rolled my eyes and made my way to an empty part of the bleachers. The music stopped playing before I could press answer. I frowned and found my mom's contact. I pressed call and listened to it ring. After three times she answered.

"Hey, I didn't interrupt anything, did I?" her voice sounded through the phone. "No, I just didn't get to my phone fast enough," I told her. "Oh, that's good. Are you in school right now?" She asked. "Yes, It's lunch time. Why aren't you sleeping?" I asked referring to the time difference. "What? I can't call my daughter?" she asked sarcastically making me laugh. "I didn't say that. I miss you," I admitted to her. I could practically hear her smile.

"I miss you too, but I have a question for you," she spoke into the phone. I heard some rustling from the other side. "Okay. Who are you with?" I questioned her. "Drew," she said referring to my older brother. He was a year older than me and a total sweetheart. I love him to death because he's so outgoing like me. Plus, he's a big idiot.

"Hello, Drew," I smiled into the phone. "HEY, OLIVIA!" he screamed back making me move it away from my ear. "Woah. Keep your voice down," I giggled. "Yeah, yeah. I don't have to listen to you," he told me. "When I get back in like two weeks you are so freaking dead," I smirked into the phone. "You love me too much," he joked. "Whatever," I sighed.

"Anyways, back to my question," my mom dragged on. "Who is your new boyfriend?" Drew interrupted her. "What do you mean?" I asked confused. "You know who I'm talking about. It's all over your twitter. Brown, curly hair. Green eyes. Skinny and tall," he described Harry. I laughed into the phone. So many people think we are dating.

"Harry? We aren't dating," I told them truthfully. "Psh. Just look at him. He's cute," my mother gushed. "Gross. Stop. You're married," I laughed at her. "I'm just stating my opinion on your new boyfriend," she shot back. "He's not my boyfriend," I whined. "I did some research and it looks like you two are. I stalked many twitters to find that picture of him kissing your cheek," my brother stated proudly. "Wow I get stalked from halfway around the world by my brother. And that's a long story," I pointed out.

"Explain then," my mother snickered. I sighed and was interrupted by the school bell signaling lunch was over. I smiled at my phone. "Sorry. Bell just rang. Love you both. Bye!" I cheered and hung up. Boy, that was awkward.

I made my way over to the rest of the group who was frowning at me. "What?" I asked them. "You spent the whole lunch talking on the phone," Marisa pouted and I rolled my eyes. "To my mom. No one can pass her up," I smiled. "Not even me?" Harry pouted. "Of course not," I smirked.

I followed them to the bottom of the bleachers. "See you boys later," I spun on my heel. I walked along with the girls when a hand stopped me. "I don't get to kiss your cheek today?" His raspy voice asked. I didn't have to turn around to know it was Harry. An idea popped into my head and I smirked. I turned to face him and placed my lips on his cheek barley touching the corner of his lips. It rested there for a few seconds before I pulled away. He looked shocked. "There's your kiss," I winked cheekily and caught up to the girls.

"So why did your mom call?" AJ asked me. "The usual 'I miss you' normal things. Drew was there too. Then they stalked twitter and found out about Harry and thought we were dating," I spilled to them. "First question, who is Drew?" Marisa asked. "My older brother," I explained to her. "Second question, what did you tell them when they thought Harry was your boyfriend?" AJ asked for her. "I told them the truth. We are not dating," I told them as we walked into the main building.

"That's it?" Marisa quizzed me. "I guess so. It's not like I have conversations about amazing things like... I don't know but you know what I mean," I shrugged. "Well, I'll see you guys later," AJ stated as we broke off into three separate classrooms.
