Chapter Seven:
Harry's POV:
"Ready for what?" I asked cheekily. Her eyes lit up in amusement and her lips curled into a smile. "I'm about to earn myself a free breakfast," she stated. "And how is that?" I asked her with an eyebrow raised. "Flirting," she replied simply.
"We are in a flirting competition trying to see who can get the most food for free," AJ explained into further detail. I looked over at the counter and took notice of the baristas. One was a boy and the other was a girl, neither being anything too impressive to me. "Can I join in on your little competition," I winked at Olivia. "You can if your not afraid to be beat," she smirked.
I nodded my head and walked over to the counter. Once it was my turn to order, I put a smile on my face and smiled at the girl. "Hey, beautiful," I told her in a hushed tone. She immediately blushed and looked down. "Um, hi! What can I get you?" she asked. "A grande Vanilla Bean Mocha, a chocolate chip muffin, and your number," I stated nonchalantly and winked. She did a nervous giggle and then typed in my order. "That should be € 5.68, but for you it's free," she winked back. I smiled.
"You don't have to do that," I told her while fixing my hair. "But I want too," she squealed a little too fast. "Thank you love," I smiled at her. She turned around to fix my coffee and I looked over at Olivia who was watching me. I winked at her and she playfully rolled her eyes back at me. The barista came over to me with my drink and a bag. On the bag I saw she wrote her number. "Have a nice day!" she giggled. "You too, babe," I smirked at her and walked over to the table.
I stopped next to Olivia and leaned over so my lips were almost touch her ear. "How was that babe," I asked in a deep voice. She faced me so that we were only inches apart. I looked from her eyes to her lips. They just looked so pink and big. I was almost tempted to kiss her. "I'm impressed, but is that the best you can do," she whispered back. I smirked and so did she. Olivia quickly spun around and walked to the line for the boys cashier. I smiled and sat down at the table where the boys and girls were also watching her.
"I can take you in my line," the girl barista told Olivia. She nodded her head in the boy's direction and have her a look. The girl barista smiled and nodded sending her a look back. "I can take you now," the girl told the person behind Olivia. "Girl messages. Sometimes they suck," Marisa muttered causing everyone to chuckle. "What's the prize of this anyway?" I asked them, not taking my gaze away from the blonde in line.
"The winner gets to raid our twitters," AJ explained. I smirked and watched as Olivia walked up to the counter. "I'm about to raid your twitters," I told them and they laughed.
Olivia's POV:
"Hello, can I help you, love?" the boy barista asked. I already had him flirting with me. This would be easier than I thought. "Well, it's my birthday so I'm going to try something new," I sent him a flirty smile. I actually got the same thing every time, but he doesn't know that. I just needed him to think it was my birthday.
"Birthday girl, aye?" he chuckled. "That's me. I'll have a grande Double Chocolate Chip Frappacino and a piece of cinnamon swirl coffee cake, please?" I asked leaning a little closer to him. He sent me a flirty smile and a sure. I played with my hair between my fingers and watched as he made my drink. "How about a free meal for the birthday girl?" he asked.
"Really? That's so sweet," I gushed. He just winked at me and wrote his number on my bag. "Thank you," I smiled and took my bag. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and I quickly looked at the ground to make him think I was blushing. "See you soon, babe," he told me. I walked away and turned the corner, making my way to the booth. I slid in next to Harry and smiled victoriously.
"I win," I casually stated, taking a sip of my drink. "What? No you didn't," Marisa protested. "Yeah, we all got our free meals," AJ stated. "But I got his number too," I pointed out. "So did I," Hardy added with a smirk. I smirked back. "But I also got a kiss on the cheek," I smiled proudly. Marisa tried to protest but she knew there was no way to argue with that. "Here," Marisa said handing me her phone. "No, not now. Later, I need to get my creative juices flowing," I laughed at how wrong that sounded. "You said juices," Chase giggled. "Same immature Chase," I laughed. "Same flirting Olivia," Chase shot back causing everyone to laugh. "I'm sure Harry doesn't mind though," Louis laughed and pinched his cheeks. "Of course not," he laughed.
"What are y'all doing today? More museums?" Louis smirked. As if on cue, Marisa, AJ, and I groaned together. "I can't take another history lesson," Marisa faked sobbed. "It's torture," I complained and finished up my food. "We aren't doing anything today," Chase told us. Yes, a day with the boys. "Let's go to the zoo," AJ cheered. "Yeah," I shouted with her.
Everyone else agreed and we decided to walk there since it was a couple blocks down the street. I linked arms with AJ and Marisa and we skipped to the front door, the boys trailing behind us. "Happy Birthday!" the boy cashier called after me once again. I winked at him and blew him a kiss.
Once we got outside, I giggled and threw my bag away. "Your not keeping his number?" Harry asked me. "No, it was just a contest that I won," I shouted out the last part. Everyone laughed and we began walking. I took off my birthday pin and put it in my bag. I also put on my sunglasses.
"So, Olivia?" Chase asked me. "Hmm?" I said and raised my eyebrows at him. "Remember what happened at that zoo in 8th grade?" he asked me. My cheeks turned bright red and so did AJ's. We exchanged a glance and started laughing. "What happened? What did y'all do?" Harry asked with a raised eyebrow. "Here," Chase chuckled and showed him some pictures. "You still have those!?" AJ laughed.
In 8th grade, at the zoo, AJ and I were walking along when a big peacock started chasing us until we hid behind some gates. We looked around for a bit then found ourselves in the elephant enclosure. Luckily, it was closed for cleaning and the elephants were put away. People were staring at us and we were standing awkwardly in the exhibit. Chase seeing us the whole time, took pictures and videos of the peacock chasing us and us in the exhibit. Once we finally got out, a bird shat on us so we swam through the coin fountain to clean off. I suppose you know how much trouble we got in.
AJ told them the while story while everyone laughed. "I swear ever since peacocks have been attracted to us," I told them. As if on cue, Louis and Chase started singing, "I WANNA SEE YOUR PEA-COCK COCK COCK! YOUR PEA-COCK COCK COCK!" We started laughing and Louis hugged Chase. We all laughed at the two of them and continued walking.
