Chapter 28:

Olivia's POV:

I laughed as the three of them ran around; My inner child urged me to join in on their game. "How did I deserve such an amazing girlfriend?" He asked. What? Girlfriend? When did I agree to that? "What makes you say that?" I asked coolly, ignoring the panicky feeling in my stomach. "Well, when I asked that guy for his towel, I told him you were my girlfriend. Otherwise, he would have said no or flirted with you," he answered. "So you would be jealous if he flirted with me?" I teased. "No," he answered too quickly making me laugh.

"Remember what happened last time you didn't admit you were jealous?" I faced Harry and his face turned red. "Uh, yeah. I'm not jealous but I mean, we did almost kiss," He pointed out. I nodded but still smirked. "I'll take it this time," I joked. "Now, you should probably give that guy his towel back," I pushed myself away from Harry. He pouted but still left and returned the damp towel back to the man. Harry walked back over to me.

Since his shirt was just plaid, it was mostly dry. However my sweatshirt, was still a little wet. "You cold?" Harry asked. "Nah, I'll be fine in a few minutes," I answered. He shrugged. "Are you completely sure?" he asked. "Yes," I replied again.

"Totally sure?"

"Yes"

"100% sure?"

"Yes, Harry"

"So sure you would die if you are lying?"

"Yes. Now please stop," I begged and he laughed. "I just want to make sure you are okay," he told me. "Well thank you, but I'm fine," I smiled. He sighed and looked at me. "They are coming back," he told me.

At first I didn't understand what he meant, but then I heard them. Louis' loud screaming, Marisa and AJ laughing. They came closer and I regretted not joining in on their fun.

"What do y'all want to do now?" I asked them. "Well, I was thinking we could go to Target," Marisa suggested. "And do what?" Harry asked. "Hang out; try to get kicked out," she smirked. I laughed. "We should think of things to do and try not to get kicked out," I challenged. "I'm down," Louis cheered. "Sounds good," AJ chimed in. I looked at Marisa and Harry and both nodded. "Then lead the way," I smiled. "It's just down the road," Marisa started walking towards the park gates.

I jumped on Louis' back and he started chuckling. "No laughing! Just walk," I instructed him. He put his hands under my knees to hold me in place and started walking. "Getting comfortable, aye?" AJ smirked at me. I rolled my eyes and thought of a comeback. "Yeah, I can totally sleep on him," I told her. Wrong choice of words. They all started laughing as they thought of my comment negatively. I could feel Louis' smirk as he squeezed my knees. "No offense, but I don't like you like that," he told me and we all laughed together. I huffed and rested my head on its side and stared at the road as we walked down the sidewalk.

Once we arrived at the Target, Louis set me down. I stretched my back and faced the others. "What do we do first?" Marisa asked. I shrugged. "I want to look at the leftover Halloween costumes here first," AJ told us then headed inside. I looked at the curly headed boy and he laughed knowingly at me. We all walked into the store and Marisa led us over to the leftover Halloween section. I looked along the wall of costumes. They had every type, size, and color. I laughed when I saw a cactus. Who would be a cactus for Halloween?

I giggled and felt someone tap on my shoulder. I turned to face Harry. He handed me something while his smirk played on his face. I looked down at my hands and laughed. It was a sexy cat costume. I smirked and looked up at him. "No," I handed it back to him and spun so my hair hit is face. "Ow! Your hair hurts," I turned back around and saw him pouting while rubbing his cheek. "I'm sorry," I stuck out my tongue. His face changed into a cheeky smile. "Kiss it better?" He asked.
