Robin Williams is dead. You have no idea how crushed I am.
To know why I have not been on Wattpad, read the note at the end of this chapter.
Chapter 69:
Harry's POV:
"Gooooood morning, Vietnam!" My drama teacher exclaimed, running into the classroom. Ms. Julia was eight minutes late. I was hoping she'd take longer because Olivia informed me that if our teacher doesn't arrive within the first fifteen minutes of class, we're legally allowed to leave. That would have been cool.
She was carrying a tall pile of oddly familiar looking boxes, but I have only rarely seen them. Olivia, on the other hand, gasped and sat up straighter in her chair. Only the American students seemed to know.
"What-"
"Krispy Kreme doughnuts," Olivia cut me off, eyeing the boxes with great affection. "Only the best doughnuts you will ever taste."
Now I recognized the signature green dots orderly spaced on the white box. We only have a handful of those restaurants in England.
"A teacher has to be really happy to be bringing us doughnuts," Louis spoke. He was practically salivating over the tabletop.
I - not staring down the doughnuts because I don't think I've ever had them - studied Ms. Julia. She did seem particularly happy today. "What's with her?" I asked Olivia.
She turned to see who I was talking about, and I nodded my head in the direction of our teacher. "Oh! It's great actually! Derek- wait. You don't know him. Okay. Well, her boyfriend of... forever finally proposed yesterday."
I nodded my head at the fiery-haired woman. That explains a lot.
Ms. Julia hushed the classrooms chatter over the doughnuts and smiled ear to ear - almost literally. It was actually quite uneasy looking; any further and it would have been disgusting.
"I have big news! Since you're my first and - I'm not going to lie - favorite period of the day, I bought you guys some nice snacks."
Ms. Julia set the boxes on the corner of the front row's table closest to her. She opened one box filled with a variety of doughnuts and began circling the desks. "While I get these passed around - and please only take one for now - how was all of your weekends?"
To answer that question in one word: amazing.
After it stopped storming midday Saturday, we all met up at AJ's house and decided to walk to a nearby park. The large fields it contained were sloppy and soaking with mud from the heavy rain that occurred for the past 12 hours.
It was pretty cool. Dark clouds filled the sky, making it seem as if it was going to rain again, but it never did.
Our adventure at the park began with us rolling up our jeans, (as much as I could with how tight my jeans were) taking off our shoes, and walking through the muddy fields. Then us boys started shoving each other around.
We knew it was game time when Chase fell completely into the mud, and it wasn't long before we got the girls involved too. Olivia was pissed when I dropped her face-first into the mire.
Our physical free-for-all soon turned into a dirty game of Keep Away. Chase had brought a white, rubber ball that was slightly bigger than a tennis ball along with us. He claimed it would come in handy, which it did.
We played for hours, and some people even joined in with us. It was crazy! I don't remember the last time I've ever laughed that hard. Or been completely covered in mud.
