The weeks to follow weren't so bad. I must admit that although I did miss Sebas, I missed him a little less with each day that went by. His constant texts and calls, became a daily thing, we weren't back together yet. We were more than friends, but not quite something else...Christopher and the boys refused to tell me more about Joel, whom I found myself day dreaming about more than I should've.

Then one late Sunday afternoon, I got carried away as "Try Hard" by 5SOS blasted on through my white Beats headphones, I began jumping up and down on my bed.
My gaze randomly turned towards outside my open window, to where the empty house next door stood.

But it wasn't empty...

My room was perfectly aligned with this one room across said house, as so were our windows.

Staring intently at me, were a pair of dark wood brown eyes.

They seemed familiar though...

I froze right on the spot, as our eyes locked, and I could feel my face glowing bright red, as the boy with dark hair chuckled.

Remind me to close my curtains next time I feel like making a fool out of myself...

I immediately pulled down my gray oversized t-shirt that read Hogwarts , and fixed my comfy black basketball shorts.

"Hey! Nice to meet you, I'm your new window neighbor, sorry if I scared you" shouted the boy, sticking out his head from his window, as he merely waved at me.

"Haha bye " I said loud enough for him to hear, as I rushed to close my navy blue curtains. I stood there for a few seconds, hiding from his view.

I'm so bad under pressure, Did I mention I suck at talking? Especially to hot guys with nice hair and pink lips.

Now that I think about it, I do remember seeing a moving truck parked outside that house , when I got home. I Figured they'd be boring non-talkative neighbors.

That night before I went to sleep, I peeked through my window, just a little...curiosity was killing me, I wanted to get another glimpse of him.

But his blinds were closed. Whatever.

Like every other night, before falling asleep, I looked up at the moon, and secretly hoped to see the boy who'd taken my first kiss again. The boy who didn't even remember my name. My Joel. After all, we did lay under the same stars.

If only...

[The Next Morning]

The following morning, surprisingly, I got up early. After I showered I even had time to curl my hair into ringlets, that cascaded down my shoulders. I changed into an emerald green dress with not so long sleeves, and black boots . I had to look decent today, nominations for school counsel were today. I was in such a good mood, that I even made myself an omelet accompanied by a strawberry milkshake.

As usual, Christopher came to pick me up right on time.

It had been his idea , for me to run for school president. His ex, who deeply hated me, was also very likely to get nominated.
