"So wait, we're twins?" Matt asked. He seemed to be the only one talking while Lena stayed silent.
"Yes," Clary answered. As they realized the truth, the atmosphere became increasingly awkward.
"So that's why I've been seeing things lately," Lena whispered causing Jace and Clary to look at her. "I'm not going insane, I've just been having parts of my memory coming back since I've been around Matt."
"You've been having the same thing?" He asked her.
"Yes," she nodded. "Every since we've met, I thought at first it was the demon blood causing me to go insane, but it's not." She became silent once again.
"So why did you give us up?" Matt finally asked. "I mean what was the point, to have a happy life? Because neither one of us have had a happy life."
"At the time the Fair Folk were starting to revolt against the Clave," Jace explained. "We knew that if it came to that we'd be the first on their list, so we tried to protect you two. We didn't anticipate all of this."

"I'm not like him," Lena finally said after a long silence.
"Like who?" Clary asked.
"Sebastian," she replied. "I'm nothing like him."
"He was influenced by Lilith's blood," Jace started. "You also have demon blood in your veins. I mean let's face the facts Veronica, you-"
"Stop calling me Veronica!" Lena shouted. "The only thing me and Jonathan have in common is we both have Morgenstern blood and that is all! You will never dictate how I will ever because you don't know me!" At that moment Lena stormed out, ignoring the pleas of her brother and parents.

"Damn it's cold," Lena thought to herself as the cold wind seemed to feel like tiny icecicles piercing through her face. She had been wondering around the cold Brooklyn night for an hour looking for Magnus Bane's apartment. She was hoping to get him to portal her back to Idris. Lena has went fourteen years keeping her emotions in check and somehow two complete strangers manage to cause her to snap for the first time in her life. She just didn't want to go back to that Institute, she just wanted to go back to her place in Alicante.
"Hello?" A red headed lady answered. Lena's heart sunk into the ground; she was at Jocelyn's apartment.
"I'm sorry I got the wrong apartment" Lena then proceded to leave.
"Veronica wait!" Lena turned around to face her grandmother. Jocelyn then handed her a Seraph blade.
"I want you to have my old blade as a birthday present ," she explained. "I figure Clary and Jace have told you and your brother by now, but I just want you to know, no matter what happens you always have a place in my home."
"Thank you," she said softly before heading out to find Magnus Bane.
