Eric had been back at home now for a few weeks. Although he was extremely happy to be back with his parents and younger sister, a part of him felt lonely.
"I guess it's because Sam isn't here," he thought to himself. Sam was a huge person apart of his life. Another person who had become apart of his life was his new "friend" Yvonne. Even then it just didn't feel right; anytime he tried to get intimate with her another girl's image popped into his head.

His mother had noticed something was troubling her son, so one day she pulled him to the side to talk to him.
"Eric what's wrong?" She asked him.
"Nothing." He stated simply. His dark brown eyes eluded her own. That's when she knew he was lying.
"Eric Allen Stormshadow," she began. "I have known you for fifteen years, you're my son so I know you lying. Just please tell me what is bothering you."
"Every since I have been back here I long to go back to my parabatai and this girl I met." Eric let out a sigh; this was hard for him to admit to his mother. "I am grateful to be home with you, Dad, and Sierra, but this feeling I can't shake until I see them again."
"Then go back to them," she said. "You have both mine and your father's blessing to go back. Just tell Sam he is always welcome here." Eric stared at this mother in disbelief before finally hugging her tightly.
"I promise I'll come back one day," he spoke softly. "I love you so much."
"I love you too son." She watched as he gathered up his things before departing into a portal for New York. She smiled at him sadly as he left. At the age of fifteen she felt proud, yet for how fast her son was growing up.
"I love you Eric. More than you'll ever know."Sam and Josh sat in the kitchen of the Institute. The two had just met up with Kat and Matt to look for Lena, but came to yet another dead end.
"I hope we do find her soon," Sam sighed. For a few days now his cousin had been missing and everyone was hellbent on finding her.
"No telling where she is," Josh said. "My grandparents, Izzy, and Simon checked all around Alicante and she wasn't there." Sam was about to say something when he felt a familiar presence walk into the kitchen. He looked up to see it was his parabatai.
"Eric!" Sam said suprised, causing Josh to look up.
"Hey Sam can't I talk to you in private?"
