----Alexis' POV----

The whole time I was out with Derek I couldn't help feeling sad and uneasy. What if this is the last time we go out together? What's gonna happen when I start a new life? When will I have to leave? All these thoughts kept putting me down and all I wanted was for it to be over.

"Al, what's wrong?" He asked, his voice laced with genuine concern.

"Nothing, just a little tired," I replied with a smile and he gave me a short nod.

"Lets go then. Your place or mine?" He asked as we got up to leave the cafe we are currently in.

"You decide."

"Mine it is," we walked out in silence and the silence followed through out the night. As soon as we got to Derek's I got in bed and unfortunately, my thoughts came back. I'm going to have to leave him, again. I might even have to move countries for all I know. I'm gonna go through adoption, I may never see him again. I may never see Crystal. I may never see Ben. I'll never see the guys again. All of it just because of some girl. Stupid Taylor. Soon enough I fell into a deep sleep, which I was grateful for.

----Morning----

I woke up to find Derek sleeping beside me with his arm wrapped around my waist. I smiled and carefully got out of his grip. I went into the kitchen to get some water to drink when my eyes landed on the clock. 7 am. Great, now I have time to get ready and go to school. Why can I never oversleep? After my drink, I went and brushed my teeth and hair and straightened out my clothes.

"Hey," Derek said from behind me and sat down on the couch to watch tv with me.

"Morning. Are we gonna go to school today?" I turned to face him and he nodded, causing me to groan.

"We'r going but I never said you had to work or show up on time to every class. Come on now," we got up and left the building. We took Ben's car again seeing as we had to drop by and give it to him anyway.

The ride was silent but comfortable as well as it was quick. Too quick.

"Derek?"

"Yes?"

"Why are you always speeding?" At this he laughed even though I actually meant it.

"I dunno. Force of habbit, we're here," he parked the car in its usual place and we both got out.

"I still don't get why I have to come here. I wanna have some fun during my last few days of existence," I groaned but he just shook his head and put his arm around my shoulders.

"Okay, tonight we'll go out. With Crystal, Ben, Peter and some other girl. Just like old time," I chuckled at his 'some other girl' remark.

"Okay. Who do you think he'll bring this time?" I asked and he went deep into thought.

"If he's bringing someone I'd say a hooker," I laughed and shook my head even though it might be true.

Walking into the form room, I realised almost the whole class was here. I noticed the slut Derek punched was glaring at us through her shades. What was her name? Mandy? Who the hell wears shades indoors? I nudged Derek and he saw who I was looking at and smirked. He gave a short wave and the girl became furious. Wow, someone's time of the month. It was just a wave.

"Hey, over here!" Someone called out to us. I looked around and spotted Ben, Crystal and some others in the corner of the room where the voice had came from.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked as we came close.

"Nothing really, just felt like calling you over," Ben replied and I rolled my eyes.
