We left the others and went on our way home. I can't believe I didn't know who he was.. How did he know so much about me?

"Do you want to come hang out at my place? My mum and Dad are out this week and my brother won't be back until early morning.," Drake asked, interrupting my thoughts.

"Sure, thanks." I said and then I realized something. "Wait, you're Drake Parkson right?" I asked.

"Yeah, that would be me. Why?" He looked at me in confusion.

"Well I didn't know you were related to Sam Parkson.. He hates my guts." I said.

"Oh crap, I forgot about that. I Don't think he knows that you're neighbours but It doesn't matter, he usually stays out until its like 3 a.m."

"Okay. But if he is there then I should probably just go home."

"He won't hurt you while I'm here." Drake smiled at me.

"That's not what I'm afraid of.. Wouldn't he kill you if he found out that you spent time with me or something like that?" I looked at him and he smirked.

"Then it's gonna be our little secret". He winked at me which caused me to laugh quietly.

"Okay, sure."

We walked the rest of the way in silence which soon broke as we reached our houses.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE LEAVING!" I heard my dad shout at either my step-mum or brother.

"Shit. I'm sorry you have to listen to this." I whispered to Drake.

"Its fine. You shouldn't be sorry.." He smiled at me and hugged me. I backed away almost immediately. "I don't bite." He chuckled.

"Sorry force of habit." I laughed a little as we walked into his house. It had a faint smell of cigarettes and alcohol but nothing looked as if it where out of place and everything seemed to be sparkling clean.

"This isn't the best place to be hanging but it's a lot cooler and different in my room."

"K... Is your room the one opposite mine?" I asked him this because are houses were right next to each other and outside my window was what looked like a teenage boy's room. No, I don't look through his window but sometimes I see through it unintentionally.

He grinned at my question. "Yup.. Kinda why I recognized you at school."

"Stalker."

"I don't stalk you.. You're usually never there." He smiled innocently and I laughed

"Well this is ma room." He said as he flopped onto his bed.

"Epic room you got," I said as I looked around. I wasn't joking, his room was pretty awesome; all the walls were painted red except the one behind his bed which was black and resembled a chalk board. There were posters, writing and even some spray painted things on the walls. The floor was a dark hard wood and the only white/bright things in his room were a chest of drawers, a door to what I assume is a closet and a work desk.

"Thanks. You got a pretty hardcore room yourself."

"I wouldn't describe a room as hardcore but whatever."

"Lol. If you don't mind me asking, when you leave the house through your window, where do you go?" I looked at him, did he really see me do that as well?

"Either to Derek's place or to a little den I made in the very back of the garden."

"Oh, well, feel free to come over to my room.. It's pretty damn cozy here."

"Haha, sure thing Stalker." After I said that, he got up and grabbed my arm.

"Stop with that nickname."

"Fine, but you're going to get another one," I replied with a devious smile.

"Sure. I don't mind that." Just as I was about to reply I heard a voice.

Sam Parkson's voice.

"Crap." I whispered as I ran through the white door which turned out to be an ensuite bathroom.

----Drake's POV----

Shit. For some reason my brother was home and these two did not get on well. At all. Why was he back so early anyway? He loathes this place. I wouldn't say we get on well but I wouldn't say we hate each other, I mean, he can be kind when he wants and he's a good brother.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked him not meaning to come off as rude but did anyway.

"Forgot my phone 'n' keys. You sure you don't wanna come?" He replied.

"Hmm... Get wasted and high with your 'friends' or stay here.. I think I'll stay here." I replied as he stood by the door of my room.

"Yeah.. whatever, you're no fun at all." Was the last thing he said before he left the house. When I heard a car start I turned to where Alexis had run off to.

"You can come out now." I said softly.

"That was close." She whispered, looking around cautiously. She really didn't want him to see her did she?

"So, what music do you like?" I asked trying to start a conversation and to get to know her better.

"Mostly punk rock. Anything by the bands; Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Blink 182, Linkin Park, Panic at the disc, Sum 41, Paramore and Fall Out Boy."

"Whoa, that's awesome" I replied before putting St.Jimmy (by Green Day) on.

"You like Green Day too?" She looked a bit surprised and I just laughed.

"Hell yeah!"

"That's epic."

We sat there talking for hours to find out we had a few things in common. But I also found out that she isn't the fearful Alexis that everyone says she is. In fact she is an amazing funny, strong, punk teen. Okay, I guess to some people that's kind of scary but it's not a reason to be cold and mean to someone.

Her phone buzzed and she looked down at it. The caller ID read 'Stupid brother'. Wow, she did not get on with her family. Instead of answering she just hung up on him which seems like a pretty normal thing to do.

"What time is it?" I asked her.

"Midnight," she replied. "Its getting late.. Do you want me to let you sleep?"

"Nah it's fine. Do you want something to eat or drink?" I asked as I stood up.

"May I please have a drink?"

"Very polite," I smirked as we walked out of my room and into the pot smelling corridor. No, I'm not a druggie, I hate drugs with a burning passion.

"Oh shut up. I can be rude if you want." She sent me back the same smirk.

"No need. What drink do you want?" I asked as we went down stairs to the kitchen.

"I don't mind. What do you have?"

"Uhmm," I scratched the back of my neck as I looked around. "There is Coke, Dr.Pepper, Pepsi, Beer, Vodka.. Just fizzy drinks or alcohol."

"You choose." I grinned and took out the beer and some vodka. She smiled at me.

"Just to warn ya, I'm like a messed up child if I drink too much."

"I'd love to see that."

---Alexis' POV----

I would love to get wasted any time and I really wanted to let loose all stress and worry, I didn't really have anything on my mind but sometimes my mood just dampens.

"Lets go up to my room." He smirked.

"Sure." I smiled and followed him up to his room.

"Here. You can stay over night if you want... I don't think Sam is coming back"

I thought about his offer, stay with him, drunk, or go home to get yelled at and to witness whoever it was, leaving. I chose to go with the flow instead. Just see what happens.

"Um.. Maybe" I replied before drinking some beer.
