----Derek's POV----

I was taking Alexis to somewhere we always used to go when we were kids. Truth is, I've been in love with her for around 11 years but I don't really want to ask her out as it could ruin our friendship or make things awkward. We used to go to this certain tree in a field near our old school, it was the only oak tree - more like only tree- within hundreds of meters and we would climb it and sit down talking, eating and listening to music. We were always together and people - our families and some friends - used to call us 'two sweet angels' but then that changed to 'two punk demons'. But Alexis had to move schools when she turned 12 and I got expelled two years after which I was actually happy with. The point is that we were always with each other, we were very close and knew absolutely everything about each other. But she had moved away and we were separated. Things have never been the same and I wish I could change that.

"Derek? You still in there?" Her sweet voice brought me back to reality and where we were. We were inside the lift and she looked concerned.

"What?"

"You looked deep in thought. You know we tell each other literally everything?"

"Yeah.. Not gonna tell you."

"Why?"

"'Cause you'll find out later." With that we walked out the lift and into the parking where we found my amazing new Honda V4 bike. No intention of bragging.

"Woah.. This new?" She admired my awesome ride but then again, who would'nt?

"Yup. Not afraid are you?"

"No way. I love motorbikes!" She gleefully yelled.

"Hop on then. You're driving."

"I haven't got a licence." She looked down to act sad.

"I know. That's what makes me special." I grinned.

"Shut up. Wait how can you drive? You're only 16."

I grinned once more. "I can drive it. Just don't have a licence. Don't worry we won't crash."

"Not if you're here."

"Are you saying I can't do anything reckless?"

"No. But you wouldn't dare get a mark on your beautiful bike." She got on behind me and wrapped her hands around my waist.

"True. You okay with holding me like this?" I teased. I knew she'd be fine with it. She was always fine but she acted as if she did care about it.

"As long as you're not holding onto me, yeah." Now it was her turn to grin.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I know you. You. Are. A.-"

"Sexy intimidating guy that you love?" I interrupted.

"I was gonna say pervert but whatever makes you happy."

"Okay." With that one, simple word we drove off into the sunset - stupid fantasy endings. We sped off, turning sharp corners and going way off the speed limits. I felt her hands tighten around me as she looked around.

"Scared?"

"I can let go if you want."

"NO!" Crap that was too quick. She looked at  me confused and amused at the same time.

"What, you want my hands on you?"

"I don't want you to get hurt."

"Okay. Your words not mine."
