----Drake's POV----

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm and was about to turn over and hit snooze when I caught sight of the time. 7:50. I'm screwed, late for school, missed the bus and don't have a car. I jumped out of bed, grabbed some dark blue jeans and a grey top before running into my bathroom to get ready for school. I'm not a nerd who is all up for school and studying 24/7, but I do my best in classes and don't usually ditch classes or skip a day. So, yeah, I'm freaking out but the worst part? When you're always on time and then get a day late, every one stares, gasps and says stupid stuff but if you always do that then you get stares for showing up. After quickly running a brush through my hair and grabbing my bag, I went to check if my brother, Sam, was still at home. Which he was.

"Hey, can I have a ride to school?" I asked awkwardly, scratching the back of my neck as I waited for a reply.

"Sure but I'm not gonna go to class." Came his reply as he stood up and walked out; me following behind him to the garage.

"Thanks.. Why aren't you coming?"

"Don't want to, I don't really feel like it and unlike you I don't like school." He answered but it sounded as if he was avoiding something. Probably trying to avoid the fight between him and Alexis' brother. Alexis.. Where did she go? Its Thursday and she left on Friday which makes it.. 6 days. What the heck? I hope she's okay, wait.. Why do I care so much? I don't even know her that well but yet I still care. "Dude, we're here."

"Huh?" How long was I thinking for? Jeez, I really do need to pay more attention.

"School. Get out." Came Sam's annoyed and rough words. I want to know what's up with him but I'm pretty sure I'd end up with a black eye. Oh fuck it. He's my brother.

"What's wrong? Something's up and now you're avoiding school for no reason."

"If you must know, I'm meeting Jed Redmond for a fight at 8 p.m. I'm gonna spend the day training. Now get the fuck out before I make you." He glared at me and I instantly jumped out his jeep and walked over to the school to be greeted by some friends.

"Congrats bro," Ron called.

"Well done!" Chase shouted as he patted me on the back.

"Finally!" Jack sighed.

"What?" I stood there dumbfounded as w made our way towards the lockers.

"You came late and you've been ditching. We thought you'd never do it!" Ron explained as I got my maths books and dropped them in my bag.

"Can't you let it go?" I asked as I looked up at Chase who was only a couple of inches taller but I still had to slightly tilt my head up.

"Nope." They all chorused.

"Here comes Chloe. Good luck, I'm out." Jack said before turning away. Chloe is a shy, kind and different girl. Jack had dared me to play her even though I'm not a big fan of the 'player' act. She still thinks we are dating even though its been, I don't know, 8 months? Yeah, sounds about right. For some reason she had changed into a squealing, bitchy and clingy girl - just like the girls who I sit with at lunch.

"Hey babe!" She squealed as she jumped at me for a tight hug before I could realize what was going on.

"Get off me." My voice came out harsher than expected but she really has to learn.

"But babe, why?" I looked down into her sad eyes and was about to give in when I stopped myself. She always does this and I'm not caving just 'cause she's about to cry.

"Don't call me babe. We are not dating ok? Just let me be." I huffed as I pushed her away from me and started  walking away as the guys followed me, leaving her all alone.
