Chapter 33

----Alexis' POV----

 Well Derek had left now and I decided to just go back to my room. Maybe I should call someone from the old life. Or maybe I should study some more as I'm going to be starting school on Monday. Or maybe I can just jump onto my bed and think. Yeah, bed sounds best. Okay, checklist time.

What I brought :

Some books

My phone

My scrapbook

School stuff

Skateboard

Clothes (obviously)

Earplugs, headphones, speakers

Paints

Hmmm... Ding ding ding! I got an idea. I got up and out of my bed and looked around the plain room. This will be epic! I walked down the hall to Otilia's room and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" She yelled. I opened the door and walked in, I'm not really into girly stuff but her room actually looked pretty cute.

"Hey, I was wondering if you'd want to help me decorate my room, I got a great idea for it and all we will need to do is buy some more paint and a heck of a lot of balloons." I said smiling, in a bit of a hyper mood.

"I'd love to but why do we need balloons?"  She asked as she got up and put on her shoes.

"You'll see. Can you skate?"

"Yup!" She went over to her closet and got out a skateboard, I smiled and went to grab mine and put on a pair of vans. We met up by the door before going out and skating down the street. "Wait, aren't you new here? How do you know where you're going?" 

I laughed and shook my head. "I don't but I got a feeling this iis the right way," she just shook her head as we skated down a hill and across streets. I honestly didn't know where we were but there were a lot of cars and it was a city so there must be shops round here somewhere. "Almost there, I can see Hot Topic and Hobbycraft."

"Oh my god! We're going there??? This is gonna be an awesome day." I just smiled and nodded at her response as we carried on turning and skating off to our destination. First stop, Hobbycraft. I jumped off my board and Otilia did the same as we made our way inside the huge shop. Damn these huge shops, you never know where to start looking. "Over there," she pointed to the left corner of the store and I spotted loads of paint cans. Jackpot.

"This is so cool," I said as we made our way over to the paint pots.

"So, what colours?" 

I thought for a while but shrugged. "Any." I got a nearby trolly and started putting in some paint pots. I picked out black, red, purple, blue, sky blue, royal blue, lilac and a pale green and she picked out a rosy pink, a bright but not ugly yellow, a darker green and an orange. I smiled and we made our way to the cashiers where the balloons were at. 

"Wait, I know what you're doing, I say that once we're done we start hitting the guys." This girl is the best! Seriously, we're gonna have so much fun.

"Hmmmm wait here." I said. She started unloading and I ran off to get some other things for this 'fight'. When I got back I put them up on the scanner thingy and the checkout girl smirked. 

"Kids these days, hope you two have a lot of fun with all this stuff." We both smiled at her but then my smile dropped as we packed everything into some bags.

"Hey, Otillia... How are we gonna get all this stuff home?" She stopped and thought for a second but shrugged.

"I'll call for a taxi." I nodded and we both walked out the shop with the trolley and literally dragged each other into Hot Topic. It was heaven! We ran down the isles looking at everything. We even saw a rainbow dash dress! It was so cool I felt like I could live off this store. I mean, seriously, this is Hot Topic we're talking about. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING!! "OMG!!" I turned to see Otilia and she was staring at a -

"Justin Bieber shirt?" She rolled her eyes and shook her head and pointed above it to some shelves.

"The new You Me At Six album!! OMG I'm so getting it!" I laughed and shook my head as she took it and ran to the cashier with me following her. Damn she's hyper. Also has a better taste than I expected. 

-----Back home----

We got back home - wow, already calling this home, that's good. We got back home and saw Mason coming out of the kitchen and our way with some ice cream. "What's in the bags?" I shurgged and replied.

"Clothes," it was true though, we did buy some clothes. Mason seemed uninterested after that and we both ran up to my room and closed the door. We covered the carpet, put a plastic cover over the bed and desk and covered everything else. We then took everything off the walls and got to work. Opening each can of paint and ripping open every packet of balloons we filled them up and tied them together. This is were the fun starts. Grabbing some balloons we started throwing them at the walls and laughing, I've always wanted to do this! After a while most of each wall was covered and splattered in paint but we still had loads left! We filled up more balloons and filled up the water guns I bought before giving each other knowing looks and sneakily going after the guys. 

"I have spotted our first target. Name: Kyle McGrumpy pants," I laughed at the name she gave him and looked up in the direction she was looking at. He was outside in the garden and I think he was also listening to music. Perfect, he won't hear us coming. Tip toeing out the door and into the garden I waited until I could see Otilia as she went round the other way. Awesome. He had his eyes closed and was leaning against the brick wall. We both walked up until we were standing a few metres away but still in front of him.

"3, 2, 1," I whispered the countdown and she shouted 'FIRE' and we started to squirt at him. He let out a girly squeak as we attacked him with paint and he stared to run away and deeper into the garden.

"BOYS V GIRLS," I heard Mason shout. Where'd he come from?! I yelped as I felt cold water hit my back and I turned round and squirted at him whilst he was running - thank god for my good aim and experience.

"NO! I CALL FREE FOR ALL," Xander shouted as he ran out with a huge hose. Aw shit. I looked at Otilia and she nodded. Good I think we are still a team. I think I heard Kyle laugh as he tackled Mason and stole his gun to shoot at Otilia. I ran while no one was looking and came up behind Xander before tipping down the orange paint can all over him. Score!

"Cheetos!!" I yelled whilst laughing. Our fight carried on like this and we all had so much fun but we were absolutely covered! We were all lying down on the ground panting for air and laughing. Damn that was more fun than I thought it would be.

"Looks like you kids had some fun," we all turned to look at the gate and Saw Carly looking at us with an amused look.

"Yeah, I call first shower!" Xander shouted before running off, hey no fair! I shouted but then remembered there was an en suite in mine and Otilia's room. Oh how lucky us girls are. In the mean time Otilia was still dumping paint on Kyle and Mason was trying to get away from all this madness but then Carly came behind him and through green paint all over him.

"HEY! Who's side are you on?!" He pouted and I laughed at the site. This is so much more fun than living with Jed. Shut up! You can't and shouldn't think that. 

"I'm gonna go back inside," I said quietly but with a smile as I walked back inside. I sighed and looked at my messy clothes, oh well. I wiped off my shoes and took them off before making my way to my room. I got undressed, took a shower, put my glasses back on and looked at the dried paint on the walls. To be honest it looked pretty cool. And crazily messy but cool nonetheless.
