----Derek's POV----

Alexis had come up with the best plan yet and it was pretty solid. The only thing I didn't like about it was her leaving me. Again. Something always has to come between us and it just isn't fair. As well as that, if the fake death thing goes wrong... No. I'm not thinking like that. The plan is solid. It'll work. We will be able to keep in touch and I can still see her if she stays close by. It is going to work.

"Okay. Seems like a good plan. We need to have it worked out properly though. We need to make sure you won't get any bad injuries and that they think you're dead. Then we will bring you back here and change your appearance to the one you chose and get the IDs fixed. But you're still under 18 so you will have to go to an orphanage," Matt said as he worked through ideas. I nodded in understanding and smiled even if it's fake it's better than sulking.

"I know one that is good," I said and they both nodded.

"So it will work?" She asked hopefully.

"Yes but we need to work on this now. You have to buy some permanent dye and probably get rid of your contact lenses. We can change your look and I can get Mike to get you a fully bulletproof outfit for you to wear under your clothes. Figure out the people you would like to or need to keep in touch with and delete everyone else from your phone then change your number. Tell a few people, only the ones that you care for or who care for you, about the plan and stay safe. If someone does find out then you need to make sure that they do not tell anyone, also, some people might be able to recognize you so you have to act completely or at least more different if that makes sense."

We both nodded and Matt got up to go and work on a few things. It was only us two in the room and a silence was now creeping upon us.

"Are you okay?" I asked her after a few minutes passed by and she gave me a reassuring smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I smiled but if truth be told I'm a little hurt inside that she is so happy and confident in starting a new life. Yeah, I shouldn't feel this way as it is her life but I thought she was happy. We have been through a lot but it was exciting and we were almost always having fun.  Although I guess it would be better for her. A chance to excel in school, get away from harm and danger, no more crime, a simple and natural life. "Earth to Derek? Hello?" She waved her hand in front of my face and I blinked multiple times. How long have I been thinking?

"How long was I out?" I asked and she let out a small, yet amazing laugh.

"Only like 10 minutes," my eyes widened causing her to laugh more. She shook her head and stood up to get ready to leave. I followed after her and went outside.

"Where do you want to go?" I asked her.

"I just need some rest, I haven't slept properly in a while," I smiled and opened her car door before getting into the driver's seat.

"Okay, sure, I'll drop you off, I have some work to do anyway," she rolled her eyes but nodded in understanding.

Once again we were sitting in silence but this time with music from my ipod and a roaring engine. At least it's better than talking about avoiding death threats.

"Al, we're here," I said after a couple of minutes. I had parked in her driveway and I'm guessing she was just thinking about something deep. She nodded and kissed me on the cheek before stepping out the car. "I can ask Crystal to help you dye your hair and change it how you want. Don't go out without me okay?" She rolled her eyes and smiled before closing the door and walking away. I sighed and made my way over to Mike's apartment.

*******

"Hey Eli, is Mike here?" I asked her once she opened the door to their apartment. She smiled and opened the door further, gesturing for me to come in.
