"Anna?"
Ella could not believe it. Her legs fell weak before her, the numbing sensation took control of her whole body within seconds. Her lips pursed and quivered with anxiousness. Surprisingly, Anna did not reply. It was as if she was not in character. This was shown merely by her physique. The way she stood, lean as a knife; poised and ready to inflict any sharp movements. How her eyes stared blankly and soullessly back at Ella. How she didn't reply, making Ella's words nothing but a vanishing whisper in the room.
"A-Anna," Ella said once more, her voice drastically shaking.
Anna's lips parted, a thin, sardonic smile appeared as she tilted her head to the side.
"Ella," she paused. "Long time no see."
Ella stuttered, her voice sounded different from when she last remembered. Anna's voice had a strong accent, different to what it sounded like when being in Spain. It was probably because she had been in London for a good while and was used to hearing English accents. Now she sounded foreign to her; not only by her voice, but she seemed a new person.

Stepping out of her fixed position, Ana clasped her hands behind her and paced around the room.
"Oh Ella," Anna began. "You don't know how long I have waited to see you here."
"That's great Anna but we could've arranged to meet somewhere nicer you know. It's a surprise to see you but I'm a tad freaked out," Ella hesitated.
"No sé si te diste cuenta, pero estoy hablando." She replied sharply, staring daggers at Ella.
Ella shut her lips tightly together and took a shaky step back. Only to trip on the foot of the cyan-haired girl and thump to the floor. Ella hissed in pain, rubbing her side. As she looked up, she was greeted by the face of the cyan-haired girl. A face which resembled her own. Ella's jaw dropped, expecting to hear a fearful scream, but she didn't; no sound escaped her mouth.
Anna let out a bitter laugh, "this is where it gets interesting- you're going to love this Ella- and it seems like you have finally met the master of this plan."
Ella spun round to face Anna, "what is going on?"

Crawling to get away on the floor and messily scurrying to the exit of the room, Ella was stopped by a strong grip keeping her. Weakly, she kicked around but it was no use.
"If you would stop maybe you would find out?" Anna said angrily with a touch of sarcasm in her voice.
Ella slowed down, paused, and gave in, for she wanted to know too badly what was happening to her.
Anna spoke: "it was a few days after we had that Skype call, I began to feel a little lonely, at first I was happy you were having a good time y'know but as time went on I began to think things. Bad things, like why did it have to be you? You of all people don't deserve to be with Dan and Phil - I was the one who showed you them - you had everything. And then I realised: I had given you everything I was jealous of. I made you popular when you used to be a loser at school and everyone made fun of you. I protected you from things which would've hurt you. Suddenly I realised, I was your puppet. I did everything for you and you did nothing for me. This love of friendship I had, grew to a cold hate."

Anna spat her last words. " but then something great happened, I received an email from a certain "MissyHowlter" sending me an article of a blog titled : "take Ella down". I was hesitant at first, but how could I refuse."
While paying attention, Ella decided to use her phone which was hidden by her body on the floor, and carefully call Phil so he could help her.
"Good thing it's on silent." Ella thought to herself.
"Over time, I got to know this "MissyHowlter", learning that her name "Missy" stood for "Mystery" as she did not want to give her name away. And soon enough I learned the true identity of Mystery."
Ella paused and looked up, Anna was closer to her than she had been before. Her eyes glared right at her own.
"Ella you've known her as "MissyHowlter" and "the girl with the cyan hair for too long." Anna continued, "meet-"
"Hi." The girl interrupted Anna, her voice was surprisingly sweet, yet it sounded so wicked. "I'm Violet. Your twin sister."

Without thinking, Ella instinctively replied, "that's impossible. You're lying."
"Trust me I wish I was." Violet snarled with disgust. "You don't remember because I was taken away so young."
"Shut up." Ella spat.
"Why do you think Dad left when you were twelve? He finally decided to stay with my mum and I." She spoke slowly, " did you not ever wonder why he was 'out with business'? He had been cheating on your mum before he had us. So when he did have us, one of us was taken to stay in England."
"I don't believe it," Ella spoke in a lower tone. "My mum would've told me."
"She didn't because that would make you hate our Dad. She was a very forgiving woman, it's a shame she was disgusting to her me."
"Qué?"
"After I left to England to stay with my mum, your real mum didn't even acknowledge me anymore. I didn't even exist."
"Well obviously," Ella defended. "It must have been difficult being forced to lose a child and not see them, it would've been better to not see them at all. Especially if they ended up as disgusting as you."
Ella's knuckles had turned white from clenching them too hard, the feeling of exasperation and rage filled her.
Ignoring Ella's comment, Violet carried on, "I hated you as I grew up, I hated that I knew all of you but none of you knew me. I saw you grow up stunningly through my Dad and the stories he'd tell and the photos and videos he'd show. Sometimes I'd even pretend to be you at home because I was so envious. Our Dad always preferred you and your mum though, I always knew that. Until he left you all. I was so happy, your world was going to fall down."

Losing patience, Ella was desperate for Phil to answer his phone. Then she heard it, Phil's deep voice saying 'hello?Ella?'. Luckily, neither Anna nor Violet had heard. Ella spoke loudly and clearly so Phil could hear and hopefully not hang up.
"As strange as this has been I think it's time for me to go-"
"You're not going anywhere Ella." Anna spoke abruptly. "As much hate as you've caused us, we're going to take you down."
"You're crazy." Ella said loudly, ensuring Phil could hear. "I've never done anything to you both. This is your twisted imaginations doing. Now let me go from the Hotel basement or-"
"Or?"
"Or I'll...I will tell everyone about you both. I'll expose you."
Violet let out a bitter laugh. "That's funny because we were just about to expose you."
"Huh?"
"Not only have you Ella ruined yourself, you ruined the relationship between Dan and Phil- we have the evidence to prove it, why do you think we've followed you around so much?- and we're going to tell the whole phandom."
Just as she was about to let out a sarcastic comment regarding their mindless plan, Ella saw Violet had brought out her phone.
"Live on the phan blog in 3, 2, 1"

Ella froze, unable to comprehend what was happening to her. Violet and Anna's words spun through her mind in an endless whirlpool of confusion. She was attacked and beaten by emotions; tension, trepidation, discomposure.
"n-no!" She stammered, losing hope.
Violet raised a curious eyebrow, and lowered her phone. "Perhaps we could make an arrangement Ella."
Ella's eyes lowered hopelessly to the floor, she dared not to look up.
"Remember how I mentioned earlier I used to pretend to be you- what's that?"
Violets eyes dropped to the phone Ella had been hiding. With a sudden burst of energy Ella sprang to her feet and sprinted as fast as she could.
"Phil!" She panted into the phone, gasping for air.
"Ella what's going on? I can barely hear you the connections awful-"
"Phil! Did you hear any of what was said earlier?"
"Barely, anyway who are you with?"

Ella darted through the foul room and towards the staircase they came from. She could feel the fearful tears forming in her eyes, her heart thumping with immense power. Despite how weak and powerless she felt, the adrenaline was pushing her to go on. Once at the staircase she rushed up, hearing the close quick patter of footsteps and angry voices behind her.
"Phil! I don't have much time i'm being chased," she gasped.
"What? Ella the front desk said there was only one lobby? Are you ok? Are you taking anything because I'm getting worried?"
Suddenly, Ella tripped on one of the stairs, sending her phone flying out of her hand and herself smashing to the ground.
"Crap."
Springing back up, she left the phone and continued on, a crimson trail of blood following her behind. Finally after what seemed a good while of running she saw the wooden door. With all her strength she shoved at it; it wouldn't budge.

Her head was spinning and her heart was racing.
"For the love of god, please!" She screamed giving a final push at the door.
It opened.
Falling through and crashing onto her knees, Ella let out a stifle, painful sob.
"Oh my god-"
It was Phil. There were a few people in the lobby who gave confused glances, but he rushed to her side. Ella looked like a mess. Her clothes were dusty and filthy from the basement floor and the scent of rusting iron hung in the air. Her top was stained with various shades of rouge, both dark and light, from the blood seeping from her head.
Timidly, she opened an eye, but it quickly shut from exhaustion. The world around her became a blur, but despite the chaos she had experienced, she knew she was safe as long as she was in Phil's arms.
Soon enough, Ella woke up, her eyes examined the room around her, she was in the hotel room and Phil was sat beside her, his head hung low by his chest.
"Oof," she mumbled, taking hold of her head.

It throbbed with pain as she let go and recalled on the events which happened before. At once she felt the gentle touch of Phil's hand against her arm and his soft tranquil voice speak to her, "it's best if you lie down, you hit your head quite hard on those steps."
"Phil, do you know what happened to me?"
"Yes."
Ella paused for a moment, "have they been caught? Violet and Anna? I can't believe they'd do that to me, especially Anna-"
"Huh?" Phil answered with confusion, furrowing his brow. He then lightened up and let out a soft laugh, "that bump to the head must have really got to you- and I thought I was the clumsy one."
"Phil I was kidnapped! What are you on about? Where's Anna? Violet?-"
"Shhhh, get some rest, we're going to get the train tonight to London and don't worry about Zoe's party she understands-"
"Phil what happened to me?"
Phil sighed and quickly said, "you got lost in the hotel, hit your head, went a bit loopy then I found you and the hotel staff helped take you to the room. I couldn't find your phone by the way, it's a bit odd that no one could find it, but no worries i'll buy you a new one."
"W-was there anyone else with me? In the basement?"
"Oh Ella," Phil said, giving her a hug seeing at how she paled with fear. "It was just you don't worry. You must have had a bad dream or something."
Despite Phil's comforting words, Ella knew what had truly happened. And worse, Anna and Violet were still out there and she was sure they had her phone.
