Ella walked along the busy streets, pushing past the passing pedestrians. City life was far more interesting than in Spain. In Sotogrande, the streets were calm and people would peacefully pass you. Whilst here it was the total opposite. No one cared of who you were, how you looked like, how you dressed. They just cared about themselves. You were just another person.

Dan strayed behind Ella and Phil, making sure they would stay together, since the streets were incredible busy. They reached a crossing and stopped. They were soon surrounded by a crowd of people. Dan moved to stand beside Ella. The crowd was pushing into each other so much, she barely had enough room for herself. She stood, squished in the middle of Dan and Phil, their warm body's brushing against her own. She felt the familiar pit in her stomach, that feeling you get just before you break and release the 'fangirl'. She shut her eyes and crossed her fingers. Making sure not to release it.

The light flashed red, they rushed across the road with the rest of the crowd and reached the other side. The hurried out of the crowd and back onto the stony pavement. Ella almost ran out of the crowd- scurrying away from Dan and Phil. The summer breeze hit Ella's skin again. A shiver ran through her spine, she turned to see them both catching up to her.
"Hey you," Phil mocked bitterly, hurrying up to Ella.
"You're in a rush," Dan exclaimed.
A flush of embarrassment ran through her cheeks.
"Sorry, I just wanted to get out of the crowd."
"It's okay," Phil replied with a light tone in his voice.

They continued down the pavement and passed the rows of shops which stood side by side with each other. They were huge stores with each over two floors. Their shop windows flashed with fluorescent lights and displays which caught the eye. It was an incredible sight. Ella stared intently at each shop window, looking through each one with interest. Suddenly, she came to a halt and she stared into the window of the shop with was in front of her.

It was an interior design shop- just what they were looking for and on display it had the most stunning room she had ever seen. Her eyes scavenged it, longing for it to be hers. Her mouth hung open in awe. Almost in a trance, she whipped her head round to see Dan tapping her lightly on the back. She grinned slightly and pointed at the display in front of them. Dan raised a curious eyebrow. Phil joined in and grinned too. He poked Dan on the arm and nodded towards the shop.
"Are you sure?" Dan asked with uncertainty.
"Come on," Phil groaned grabbing Dan by the wrist and pulling him into the shop.

Following them inside Ella paused for a moment,
'Did he grab Dan's Hand?' She thought to herself. 'No Ella this isn't the time for Phan. You can't do that any more.'
She continued inside. The shop smelt of lemons and violet, a strange, yet satisfying sent which calmed her mind and soul and let her at ease. Her eyes widened as she saw the decorations and interior which she had seen on display. She ran up to them and admired each thing individually. Phil walked up to her and tapped her on the arm. His hands brushing against the fine thin material of her plain top.
"Do you want this?" He asked looking at the objects she was admiring. She placed her hand in her bag and took hold of her light pink purse with white daisies.
"Yes."

The three of them stumbled out of the shop and into the street, carrying the massive bags from the shop. Dan leaned to the side, loosing his balance then stood upright again.
"Careful!" Phil exclaimed.
Dan regained his composure and looked at Phil with a smirk.
"I think you should be the careful one."
He strode passed Phil and continued towards Ella. He bit his lip and caught up too.
"Where to next?" Ella smiled.
"Well, how about we get going and drop the bags then we could go out for lunch." Dan said, slightly questioning the others if they agree.
"Yeah that's fine." Phil agreed. "You Ella?"
"I'm up for anything."
"It's settled then," Dan nodded.

The Sunday morning proceeded. They scurried around the streets of London, showing Ella the town she had never seen. They visited a few places- yet mainly spent the morning shopping down Regent Street and Oxford street. As they passed a corner to get to the nearby underground Ella saw a familiar poster and decided to make a small joke.
"Hey, hey guys,"
"Hmm?" They said in unison.
"The phan-tom of the opera," she winked.
"Oh haha." Dan said sarcastically. "Haven't heard that one before," he added.
Phil however laughed, his cheeks rising into a sweet smile. This smile triggered Dans and they both laughed awkwardly. Ella rolled her eyes.

Finally, they made it to the underground once more. They went through the gates and down the long escalator
Which plummeted deep into the station. Once they reached the level they needed. They turned to walk into the platform- when a squeamish scream came from the distance. The three of them whipped round to see three girls running up to them.
"Oh my gosh-" one screamed.
"Hi Dan! Take a picture?-"
"Phil! Phil!-"
They barely had time to reply, the girls just kept screaming in their ears. They obeyed and happily did what the fangirls told them to.
"Thankyou!" They all squealed.
"Haha, no problem." Dan said with his usual sarcastic awkwardness in his voice.
They looked at Ella and noticed she wasn't walking away, realizing she was not a bystander, but actually with them.
"Who is this?" One asked snoopily.
"Oh this is-"
"I'm Ella one of their friends." Ella cut in, stopping Phil from saying anything.
They nodded slowly and ran away in a fit of giggles and screams.
"What was that for?" Phil asked in confusion.

Ella sighed and turned to face them both and they walked into the platform and heady onto the train which was already there.
"I think it's best if people don't know I'm staying with you." She began. "I don't know how they'd react with a person apart from you two in your place."
Dan bit his lip and looked at her. His eyes filled with sympathy.
"You don't need to do that Ella, we don't care what they think-"
"I think those girls might have. Did you see the way they looked at me?" Ella burst.
She quickly covered her mouth regretting everything she had said.
"I'm sorry," she murmured.
"It's okay," Phil said calming her. "If you want we can keep it hush for a while. Only your friend know right?"
"Right." Ella said confidently.
"Thanks for understanding. I just feel this might cause an uproar in the fandom."
Dan laughed slightly. "Don't you worry Ella. I think we'd care more about you from after meeting you yesterday than one hundred phangirls."

And like that, Ella's heart broke. The kind words of her idol, both her idols, filled her with such a surge of happiness she couldn't even contain it. A small silver tear leaked down her cheek. They both noticed and felt bad instantly.
"Oh no Ella don't cry!" Phil gasped quickly putting his arms around her.
Ella burrowed her head in his chest and wiped her tear.
"I'm sorry I just, I never expected any of this to ever happen. I'm just so thankful."
Phil let go of her and Dan hugged her. Rocking her in his arms childishly.
"Hey," Ella laughed, looking up to his face.
He stuck out his tongue and saw the doors of the train open.
"Shoot come on Phil."
He jumped up and ran out the train, so did Phil.

Ella quickly collected herself and walked towards the exit. Just as she was about to leave the electric doors slammed shut. Trapping her inside the train. Her eyes widened with fear. She slammed her fists into the doors as hard as she could.
"Dan! Phil!" She screamed.
They stared from the outside and ran up to the doors. She couldn't hear their voices, yet she could see their mouths screaming her name. Their faces were pale with disbelief. Ella's knuckles were white from all the strength she was applying. She screamed as loud as she could. All the people in the train stared at her like she was insane. No one would held her. She was hopeless. The train began to move, she lost view of them. Fear was taking over her mind. She lay her head on the side of the train and began to cry. Everything took a turn for the worst. And somehow, through all of this.
She felt she was being watched.
