"Y/n! come here i have something to show you!" i heard joe call from downstairs, i slid out of bed and made my way downstairs, excited by what joe could show me. i saw him sitting on the counter on his phone.  i walked over and slid up next to him.

"what do you want?" i smiled leaning on his shoulder, i looked down at his phone to see him scrolling through a band site.

"babe my favourite band is coming to town!!" he got really excited. i looked down at the date and frowned. i moved off his shoulder and fiddled with my hands.

"joe, our parents are coming to town, on that week...sorry" i looked up at him and his face dropped immediatly. he tried to smile a bit as he slid off the counter.

"oh yeah, well thats fine" he walked off i sighed and walked after him.

"Joe if we'd known earlier we could've planned things different" i spoke while trailing after him.

"it doesnt matter y/n" he called from over his shoulder.

"but it does, this is your favourite band." i called, stopping in the hallway. joe glanced back at me before walking into his office and shutting the door, i sighed and ran my hand through my hair. then i had a idea. i ran downstairs and grabbed joes phone. i looked on the website again, i looked at the band and got their album on the phone before i bought the ticket for him. 

-2 weeks later-

"Joe come here! i have something to show you!!!" i called as i started the first song of the album and placed candles around the place. joe walked down the stairs and smiled at me. 

"suprise!" i called out. he laughed and walked over to me, hugging me tightly.

"thanks babe" i smiled.

"i know your disappointed so i thought why dont we have our own little concert." i smiled up to him as he started to rock us back and forth. i grabbed his hand and lead it down to my butt.

"y/n getting saucy" he winked causing me to smile and punch his shoulder.

"no, get the piece of paper out of my pocket." i smiled wide as he did. he held it out inbetween us.

"open it" i mumbled jumping slightly.

"there better not be a bug or something cause im not going to kill it for you" he smiled, leaning his forehead on mine before he pulled back and opened the letter. he pulled out the ticket not knowing what to make of it.

"its a ticket to the band" i smiled, Joe looked up suprised. he picked me up and spun me around until we fell.

"oh my god i love you, i love you, i love you!!" he kissed my face all over. until he remembered our parents.

"dont worry, i can handle both of our families for 1 night by myself" i kissed his nose before moving away from him.

"now how about we get back to being saucy and blow these candles out"
